Posters have been on this board forever and still do not know that "alot" is not a word and it's "could have" not "could of".
I hope the best for Espada but I remember when all of Dusty's success was really do to Strom and that myth was blown to bits.
Good for Joe. Was always a bridesmaid never a bride. Glad he finally gets his shot. Lot to work with in Chicago too.
The Astros promotion train continues. If you want to move on to a higher position in the sport, this is the place to be.
If the tweet report is true, I wonder if that means the Astros have already committed to re-hiring Dusty. Because if I was Espada, I would much prefer to take over the Astros organization since it is brimming with talent and has a winning culture. If that spot was going to open up I would have waited were I Espada. So either he didn't get the impression from the front office that the managerial spot would be open, he is not as keen to manage the Astros, or the tweet itself is BS and this is much ado about nothing.
Or the Astros simply haven't decided anything and he didn't want to pass up an opportunity when it presented itself.
Just as likely is that the Astros have no interest in Espada as a manager without regard to Dusty's future with the team and he knows that.
Probably this. He interviewed for jobs I think both of the last two off-seasons and didn't get the job. The White Sox are a decent club to take over. There aren't many better options coming open.
