RT @BillShanks: Heard Astros pushing for catching prospect Christian Bethancourt to lead deal for outfielder Michael Bourn

I like Bethancourt alot but not to lead the deal.

It looks like Bourn won't be traded. Reds, Nationals and braves have moved on. Now the astros are in beg mode?

He has the raw stuff to be up in September 2012, but he needs to really work on how fluid his mechanics are and his control. His production hasn't lived up to his raw ability yet.

I'm basing it on the fact that all of the tweets coming in for the reds are for jimeniz, similarly all of the tweets for the nationals are for span. All of the tweets for the braves are what they WONT give up, not what they will. And all of the astros tweets are about how they will keep bourn if necessary. I'm putting 2 and 2 together.

Indians are out of it and Nats look to be but Braves are still working hard for an OF, Reds haven't said anything about not going for it and Giants were in it as of this morning.

The braves are going to do squat. The giants and the reds have looked elsewhere. The braves are looking at possibilities Adam Jones and others. Plus they want a right handed batter. And they remind me of the chicago bulls, they want to rape you and keep all of their good players for themselves.

Trust me, if it ain't happened yet, it ain't happening at all.

That does not mean the Astros and Braves will not make a trade. We do not know how willing either team is to make a deal, or if one will cave to the other teams demands.

Further, that does not mean another team will not get involved.

As for the Bulls... that discussion is for another day.

Didn't, by your admission, the giants already have interest in bourn. This is another non-nothing tweet. He just added the giants to the list that he mentioned before. Sounds like he's angling for more tweeter followers.
