Us folks in Austin have to wait 'til 2014 to get our Trader Joe's.

Aldi is a piece of ****. I hated going there when I was poor. The people who can't afford the Dollar Store go to Aldi. Perhaps it has changed but when I lived in Chicago, it was garbage.

I live like an hour away from the woodlands. Is trader joe's worth the drive?

You know, I haven't thought about a Specs/Trader Joe's comparison, but may now. I'm gonna go up there and check it out Friday. I'm craving me some mini dark chocolate peanut butter cups!

I don't think any grocery store is worth an hour-long drive, if you have any other option.

I live a block from Traders. I love it.

Wasabi mayo, spinach salads, dark chocolate, their own beer and scotch and most importantly 2 BUCK CHUCK!

In the old Alabama Theatre space, Shepherd @ West Alabama.

Traffic was horrid in that area before...now it will be even worse.

I am going to check out Trader Joes, but not until I take a mental health day from work. I won't go anywhere near that intersection on the weekends.

Yeah there's a permanent line of hipsters outside that flows all the way down Westheimer where it slowly converges with other whites and continues on to Pinkberry.

I've been to the Shepard location twice. It's crowded but checkout times are really quick. Picked up some 2 buck chuck, Dixie Peach Juice, and Cookie Butter (AMAZING stuff)

you get what you pay for. I'm a wine guy, and think it's crap. But for those who don't know good wine, I guess it will get you drunk

I hear its made in a factory, like Coke. But it's not any worse than most $5-11 bottles imo. But I'm not much of a wine drinker, just wanted to try the stuff. But I understand where you are coming from, I'm the same way with my beer.

    Cookie Butter is just satanic.

They might as well sell crack.

They are already beginning building the one on Voss / San Felipe.

3 blocks from my place. Not good.
