I thought the reason for letting Parsons hit free agency was to clear cap space to sign Bosh... And all of the people who wanted Bosh was fine with it.

The bottom line is we lost Asik, Lin, Parsons, and a 1st rd pick, for Ariza and a 1st rd pick. Not good.

I can understand not wanting to overpay pkayers but the biggest problem I have with Morey is his focus on bringing in another superstar. Adding Bosh would NOT have made he Rockets a championship team, particularly if he was willing to let Parsons walk. This team still lacks a solid bench which is a major problem.

 

Would've cleared more space by picking up the TO. That wasn't the reason.
