They aren't two equally consequential events that deserve equal attention in the media. The Jan 6th insurgence was a much more consequential happening. It makes sense that the two wouldn't receive the same amount of coverage. It might make more sense to discuss why the Kavanaugh incident wasn't discussed more, but it doesn't make sense to compare it to the Jan 6th pre-planned assault and breach of the halls of congress in order to thwart a democratic vote.

I think it has more to do with the fact that it was one person, who called 911 on themselves and wasn't in any position of authority over the nation, didn't hurt anyone, didn't demolish and storm the halls of congress, didn't try and overturn a free and fair election. It was mentioned on every news source I could track. It wasn't the focus on any of them, rightfully so.

That’s terrifying. So do you support measures to protect Kavanaugh, Thomas, Scalia, etc. by removing the risk to their lives by removing the incentive to kill them?? Would be great to protect BB Brett by making the court again a nonpartisan staple of our democracy so that way there’s no incentive to kill SCOTUS judges. So you support these measures right??
