My guess is that his opinions were because of the "leading kids to Christ" comment from the OP. I can understand how someone would get angry over that. There would be an outcry If someone said they were going to go help a bunch of kids and lead them to Muhammed, I guarantee it. Or If someone was going around and converting young, struggling folks to atheism...
you must not have kids or remember being a teenager. It takes more than someone suggesting a church/religion to get thru a kid's head. Its not like the guy said he was brainwashing them. My wife and I have recently volunteered to be leaders for a small agnostic based organization. Basically what we do is spend time and develop positive relationships with high-school aged kids and lead their lives away from Christ. So many things kids see and go through in today's society could be avoided if there were more positive influences in their life. We aim to care for teens no matter what and a lot of times, that is enough steer someone in the right direction. I ask that you guys pray for my wife and I as we embrace this challenge. Pray that megatron leads us to the people that need us and need him and pray that he fully equips us to be successful. Thank you all.

You have your heart in the right spot, Lurch, and I wish you guys the best. I'd just urge you to focus on helping the kids and supporting them however they need rather than aiming to lead them to agree with your particular religious beliefs.
This I would pray for. Not some crook trying to brain wash my kids with some delusional fairy tales with threats. Taking advantage of some poor people and brain washing their kids to me is disgusting.
I think they are doing a midnight release due to all 3 major games (although I think maybe 2K12 might be enough on its own). If you do it for one, might as well do it for others I guess. This thread is now about Dark Souls.
