Sorry, bro. FYI, my mom had a miscarriage that was about that far along before she had me. She went on to have myself, 2 brothers and a sister. (And hardy har har on whoever says the wrong one was miscarried...)
Oh, man. I hope that she, at least, is as OK as she can be, given the circumstances. I can only imagine how the two of you must feel.
Very sorry for your loss. I can understand too why you might feel at fault as its hard to see someone you love suffer and not feel that you couldn't have done something to prevent it. While it may not be a comfort what is to be is what is to be and heaping guilt on yourself will not help the situation. Be strong for your girlfriend, your family and yourself and don't give up.
Thank you. Spoke with the docs and there was nothing I could have done to help him survive or to prevent her from delivering early.
As well as can be expected. I'm here, as is her family, so she has a lot of support. Sleeping for now, which is probably best.
Gotta be honest and say I didn't what half of that, but nonetheless it sounds very dire and a really unfortunate situation. Best of luck to you and your girlfriend and son and I pray things go well in the end
