Good points. If a deal has already been made, perhaps there's also a gentleman's agreement with the other team not to risk injury by playing him.
it was hillarious how asik stood up after d12 hit the 3pointer...he stood up the last on the bench only not to be the only who didnt stand up...
I don't see how it was the Rocket's decision to bench him. Either he's injured or doesn't want to play, so there's no real alternative.
He's still being paid to play. I'm sure every player in the league wants to start, but as a professional, you fill the role you are asked to fill. He could still be a very important role player for us whether he likes it or not, and every win in critical in the West. 1 year as a starter and all of a sudden he thinks he's entitled to start?
Omer will not get traded!!! book it! He actually looked happy on the bench the last couple games joking with teamates high fiving them at the timeouts. If you watched the last couple games you know we need a backup at center. Unless we get a proved NBA center i dont see a trade comming. Maybe for lin but not Omer.
Rockets love turning previously unwanted players in trades and free agency into esgo driven maniac role players.
Will be sad to see Asik go, he played his heart out last season for us. Sure he is still maturing in the game but to let him go like this its no wonder he feels this way.
ugh, there are so many duplicate threads. moments like these make me wonder why I don't have thread starting privileges when others do
So is this sak of crap gunna suk it up, be a pro and earn his keep? Don't tell me his ovaries are sore , suk it up asik
Nope... The Rockets are in a no win situation with Asik... As long as he shows and put forth 1/10 of an effort they have to play him. The situation will get worst before it gets better.... Look at past situations such as these... Sean Elliott, Mario Ellie... They can try and play him, but it will be frustrating to watch. T_Man
