he's a good guy. but injury or not, he needs to win back the city and win back his teammates trust -- that is if he truly wants to "win" like he says, and wants to stay in houston.

There is that sneaking part of me that's starting to think Omer won't be traded until the offseason when Morey can throw three million two hundred thousand dollars into the mix, but....let's hide and watch.

Don't know if I am being overly critical, but I did not get a feeling that he was concerned with his teammates. Everything seemed to be about him. Every player on any team aspiring to be champions should be thinking about that most of the time and it should have been eating him up if he was incapable of helping his bros. I wasn't feeling that from his responses.

Noone is arguing, that you can't be skeptical but I don't get all the hate and this incredible belief, that all of this is staged and the injury fake, while ALL reports, indications, team doctors and stuff etc. tell otherwise..it was stated numerous times, that it's not about pain or anything but about a swelling.

I wish we could turn Terrence Jones into a biomechanial android like Cell and he could absorb Omer Asik and gain his height and defensive abilities.

he doesn't need to win anyone back, i think fans just believe everything the media writes about him. I saw the game he got hot on his thigh and it was a hard hit, it probably takes big guys longer to get over a contusion than small guy.

Omer Asik just has to understand his role and he'll be a perfect fit for the team. He just has these expectations of being the Number one guy/Starter but he just has to face realty.

Work with what he has, that's size, strength, mobility, and defense. It's something our team desperately needs, if we could still drop 105 points a game but Asik comoes in and gelps us hold opponents to about 95 points a game, we could finish with a number one seed if you ask me.

I hope Asik buys in so we can truly make a mark in the playoffs. It's obvious the team has no hard feelings against him and they're willing to accept him as a major part of the team, he should be happy about that.

I don't see a team in the NBA that we can't beat 4 out of 7 games.

Bruised egos take a long time to heal.

Having 48 minutes of rim protection...wow. That would be great. I honestly cannot think of anything the Rockets get in a trade that would be at all comparable to having an elite defensive center coming off our bench.

Cleared to play in 7-10 days ?
    Hmmmm
I guess this means Morey could not get any team to trade for Asik trade before the Feb 20 deadline.

If his injuries are real, the last thing I would be worried about is my crow. Because I'd be wondering whether he can get himself back in shape and capable of playing well down the stretch.

A bruised ego is a lot easier to heal than a truly 2-month-long bruised knee where he apparently isn't healthy enough to be around the team. The latter to me would not only hurt his ability to help the Rockets, but also destroy any hope that we can get something in return for him(assuming he still wants to leave).

After watching that, I feel guilty for saying his ovaries are sore and what not.

I hope he can come back and stay healthy (along with everyone else staying healthy) and make a strong playoff push.

Btw, he's got that deep Turkish-mafia voice. IMO, he must grow a goatee and get a couple of arm tats too. We can nickname him "Enforcer":cool:
