Yao gives kudos to Wang who is older and venerated. So what?

Why is it so difficult for our (American) culture to understand that other cultures don't do the "trash talking" thing? Asian teams don't like to dunk..."the nail that sticks out gets hammered down".

I guess we all (both sides of the Pacific) have alot to learn about each other culturally.

He said he surfs the Net... guess who's probably checkin' ClutchCity out? Hi Yao. Hope you can come work out for the Rockets before the draft. Tell Les, the owner, that we would like new uniforms. Thanks! :)

Deckard, I was thinking the same thing. :) Yao, I just want to say I'm really excited about seeing you in the Rockets pajama-uniforms. :) I hope you come to Houston.

hmmm..i guess its up to interpretation..
i took "defence area" as defensive ability...
    and "bigger" as better

at second glance..he could be saying Wang covers a larger
defensive area? but then again..who talks about
defense areas, when describing a player....:p

i definitely think something was lose in the translation...

The fact that Ming puts a lot into rebounding is makes me think we need him more. He would be our only player besides Stevie who actually tries to rebound.

Not to be nitpicky, but Eddie tries to rebound and does a pretty good job off and on. He'll be fine once he fills out a little.
