I too have never seen an asian dude with a black girl. Brandon died on the set of the Crow when a stuntman shot him with a gun thought to have blanks in it. Bruce died a mysterious death while he was with his mistress. The most popular theory is that he died from an allergic reaction to mar1juana.
No one is going to believe me since this is the internet and I can't provide any reliable proof, but Bruce Lee is a distant grand uncle of mine. As far as the whole question, my theory is that people act like those they feel they have the most in common with. This perpetuates itself until it almost becomes a fact. Likewise, people tend to stay away from things they think people like them are supposed to stay away from. We often attach ourselves to our perceived groups when we make decisions.
Just watched this with my asian gf on the couch. Now she's in my black roomies room! WTF! Jk about everything except the asian gf part
That was Owen Wilson's finest performance since The Cable Guy. Forget about racial disparities, why is it you always see enormous obese women with rail thin men but never the other way around?
the indian guy is easily the best part. and maybe i knew this at one time and just forgot, but the brandon lee who died on the crow is bruce lee's son?! wow, i had no idea.
Saw it a few days ago, and being an Asian male myself, I can understand the stereotyping, or lackthereof. But yea, I think they just have confidence with all girls, not just the white ones in the movie. Good stuff though.
brandon got killed on the set of a movie. it was a gun scene and the gun hadlive bullets in it instead of blanks. I forgot how Bruce died.
I forgot how that movie ended. I have to see it again. He never woke up from a supposed nap as his partner reported, then died on the way to the hospital. Cerebral Edema was the final cause. I gotta go rent me Fists of Fury, Return of the Dragon, and the other few ones on DVD. Damn, I am saddened... I almost bought that red Bruce-Lee red t-shirt with a black face silhouette at Tar-gette.
Brandon Lee died from an accident on the set of "The Crow" which was a gun being used in a scene that was supposed to have blanks. I think Bruce died from something being wrong with his brain.
I had a friend of mine who is half Philipino half swedish and married to a Chinese women send this to me last week. Pretty funny. I remember when I was in college this was a huge issue but since then things have changed. As an Asian male I've dated more white women than I have Asian and my few serious GF have been white.
Speaking of Bruce Lee and sexual stereotypes I highly recommend Enter the Dragon which to me really encapsulates Hollywood sexual stereotypes. For those who haven't seen the movie its set on an island where a icriminal mastermind is having a martial arts competition. Three martial arts masters Bruce Lee, a white James Bond like guy and a black power guy (complete with big fro) inflitrate the competition. As respected competitors they are given certain special comforts. So when the hot looking madam of the island brings women to them to choose from the black guy picks six, the white guy picks the madam because she's the hottest and Bruce Lee picks one girl who is another undercover agent and instead of doing her asks her for info and then goes off to sneak into the crime lord's drug lab. According to Hollywood stereotypes the black guy is the sexual stallion with an insatiable appetite, the white guy care's about quality and is looking for that special girl and the Asian guy doesn't care about sex and is really a nerd just looking to get his job done.
