I worked in Omaha for eight years; and Kutcher being from Iowa, some of those crappy jobs he told me reminded me of a lot of the old jobs my co-workers had in those ag states with no colleges or corporate/professional opportunities: meat-packing, detasseling. Not owning any land he could have easily been doing that crap well into his thirties.

I think he was trying to associate the word "sexy" with generally positive words, such as "good, smart, right."

Such as: "Investing in _____ is the sexy thing to do right now, because it's low risk / high reward." Obviously, there's nothing sexual intended in that sentence. But rather, "sexy" was used as a synonym for good, smart, and right.

I don't have kids. But to me, I would think there are a lot worse things to say / messages to get across than using the word "sexy," especially coming from a prominent figure in young adult media.

^ Good points all around, and I understand, but we don't generally have to worry about an award recipient saying worse words than "sexy." I just don't agree he should have used it and didn't like that. Kids don't have to hear that word, much less on a NICKELODEON show.

Being smart, caring, and generous could be seen as sexy.

Helping an older lady or man walk across the road (cliche) could get you a hot girl.

Nice message by Chris. The few hatin on him in this thread need to get off their high horse. Nobody is perfect. I am not either. It doesn't mean we're not allowed to give advice to others.
