Poor, poor Ashlee. Her sister got all the talent and the looks! I year or two ago, I was flipping through the channels and came across Ashlee's show on MTV. The episode was about her making her first CD and was working with a producer and song writer to figure what kind of sound she wants to have. She bi***ed about EVERTYTHING and, when she got into the studio, she sounded like an American Idol reject. I couldn't believe that her and her parents used Jessica's fame to get this no-talent clown into show-biz.

I posted my brief review of her performance in the OU/USC thread, but let me tell you, the booing was extremely loud in person. The song was just so bad it was unbelievable.
Man, it was hilarious. Our waiter came over and said did yall hear the booes?! "We were all cracking up behind the bar". We watched the game at zonas. FUnny stuff. I hope she finally realizes she sucks, and her sister is hotter, has more talent, and definetly got the better of the genes.
I want to be sure this stays at the top. Reading this had made my day, thank you Ashlee. You can't sing, you can't dance, and even after spending all that money you still aren't pretty! Get it through your head....YOU SUCK!! I know her dad is her manager or something like that, he's probabaly giving her motivational speaches right now. I think he makes something like 10% of what Ashlee and Jessica make so he surely wants Ashlee to go on. We need to start a petition like we did for Beltran to get her kicked to the gutter where she belongs. Pugs

Pro Tools and AutoTune. But those can only do so much. Some "singers" are even beyond technology's help.

[/B][/QUOTE] exactly. they do this at so many events. how about getting singers even remotely interesting to the people watching. yeah, college football fans are going to be thrilled that ashlee simpson is there. lets even say she had talent and the song was good, most likely the fans aren't into that type of music anyway so at best the response will be muted. now throw in the fact she sucks and that she's already infamous for the SNL thing and this is what you get. terrible. c. i don't watch American Idol but i would think clarkson must have legitimate talent. i mean, from what little i see, you repeatedly sing live in front of judges and compete against thousands and thousands of people for one spot. you have to have some pretty good talent to be the final person left. i like some of her songs and she sounds pretty good. d. i didn't watch the halftime show and it's probably good, b/c i'd probably just feel bad for her. with a little laughing thrown in. if you're trying to resurrect your career after the SNL thing, doing something live at a huge event in front of hostile fans is not the way to go about it. you disappear for a while, stay away from live things for a while, and then try to salvage things later. e. ashlee isn't even hot. what do people see in her? f. gwen stefani would've been much better to look at. plus she has good songs. h. on the plus side, ou fans had to watch their team get crushed and may have even had to put themselves through the halftime show. awesome.
