Eh was cool to see Amen throw some solid passes and Sengun get a dunk. But Amen should’ve defended seriously and they would’ve had a shot, he allowed 2 guys to get a lay-up. Should’ve shown off that quick speed too, but likely was told not to get injured and just play it safe.
Just important for Alpi's morale for being allstar and Amen praised his efforts.. nothing more... And they both are healthy.. time for cogeneration. Expecting a leap from our main duo, Amen and Sengun after all star break.
ASG was trash as usual…felt like it was 30% actual basketball, 70% ads/commercials/musical performances/presentations NBA always doing way too damn much for something so sh*tty…you’d swear the ASG was the damn Grammys this new format was yet another failed gimmick…Sengun played a whopping 4 minutes across 2 games With all the billions in revenue the NBA makes, why don’t they just stop all the dumbass gimmicks and changing things every year and just keep it a strict East vs West 4 quarters with a $60 million purse? Each player on the winning team gets 5 mil each I bet you’d see way more guys trying then…that could be an extra $20 million over the life of a 4 year contract
Maybe $5mil for each starter on the winning team since that's who the fans want to see most and then $1m each for the rest of the team. That should be enough. The losing team gets nothing.
I’m keeping it $5 mil each for everyone so they all got equal incentive to give a damn, and yeah, the losing team doesn’t get a dime only other tweak I might make is instead of having some long drawn out musical performance at halftime, halftime of the ASG would be when the final 2 contestants of the dunk contest would have their championship round to decide the winner which shouldn’t take but 10 minutes max Saturday’s dunk contest would just be to whittle it down to the final 2 guys who will compete on Sunday, and the final event on Saturday would be the 3 point contest instead of the Dunk Contest
I never watch any of it. Don't watch any of the all-star stuff for any pro sport. It's like watching the Oscars or Emmys or that incredibly phony self-serving SNL special.
