This is actually useful so may belong in the Hangout COVID-19 thread. More on D&D COVID discussion, which means all things useless and frustrating, heard direct story from Dallas hospital worker. Over the holidays, a pregnant woman and her husband showed up at the ER, as she was in labor, but they refused to put on masks, even when offered masks by hospital staff. She's literally about to have a baby, but they insisted on getting multiple hospital staff, including on-site lawyers, to discuss their "rights" with them. Meanwhile, they were placing calls to local FOX affiliate so they could claim their fame as freedom warriors. This, all while people were dying of COVID inside the hospital, of course. The woman ended up literally starting her delivery on the sidewalk outside the hospital. You can't fix stupid. And once you go Medieval, you don't go back. Spoiler

I watched some guy on the news today pleading from his hospital bed for people to take it seriously. This guy said something like he thought Covid was just a flu, or something like that. I find a hard time having empathy for these fools who have refused to listen to these nurses, doctors, and patients pleading for MONTHS to take this seriously. Day after day for months now, and some idiot says he didn't think this could happen to him. Are these people mentally disabled? That is the only logical explanation.
Is that only for people that test positive and exhibit symptoms? What about those who are asymptomatic but have COVID?
You have no idea why the nation that kept everything open and had zero lockdowns had more Covid19 deaths than the nations near it that did have lockdowns? You have zero ideas why the nation that didn't lock down during a pandemic that has killed 400,000 Americans might have more deaths per million than nations that did lock down during the contagiuos virus pandemic? Absolutely no clues or ideas at all?
