I wasn't trying to knock Hakeem at all, it's just common knowledge that guards if they hit their shots can score faster.

You guys all thought that I was trying to insult the best Rocket of all time but I'm just saying guards can score faster than centers.

How many times are you going to ask this question in one form or another?

Do you expect us all to end every post with a "Hail Dream" or keep an Olajuwon thread forever on the first page of the GARM?

I'll stop talking about Hakeem whenever they pull the championship banners down and when they un-retire his number.

    does that answer your question?

Some of the guys in that clip like David Andersen seemed way too unimpressed that "the Dream" was shaking their hand and saying hello. kinda makes you want to smack him for disrespect.

To be considered dominant and/or LEGENDARY, you have to have postseason success. T-Mac had never tatsed it, even in his prime. Hakeem has carried mediorce supporting casts (throughout his career) to playoff success and even to a championship in 93-94. He did this while being double and tripled teamed. If T-Mac was more dominant and/or legendary, he would have tatsed some second round success. Heis legacy will be nothing more than a glorified chucker that wasn't good enough to carry a team to any measurable success. He was a very good player, but will not be talked about 15 years after he reitires because his career will have been forgetable and unfulfilled.

Don't worry about that dude. He is a troll. If you ever get a chance to go to the DISH, he actually roots for the Mavs, Lakers, and Jazz!

My buddies and I made the road trip to San Antonio for that game! It was fantastic to watch the real "MVP" roast the faux "MVP." They should have never given the Lil Mermaid the trophy before that game. What a day!

Oh man... anyone who seen Dream play during his prime, will agree with me that he was the Michael Jordan at the center position. Olajuwon played HOF centers and spanked them in every which way. During the championship years, the city of Houston was on cloud nine.

Pints are what determine who wins and who lost. So I would say points are pretty important.

About Hakeem. I was very very young during the rokctes championships so those I don't remember. But I do rememer a little bit of watching him play when I was about three. When I got older and read up on his stats and everything I thought "Damn, I was born a little too late(which is a little ironic since I was born premature, but I digress). I'll never forget the Dream and what he did for the Rockets just like Yankee fans won't forget about Babe Ruth.

Watched the video that the Dream greeting the players.

Interesting how players respond to him.
Veteran players like Battier, Yao, even Jared Jeffries pay more respect to him.
Young players are just like " yo dude, wa-sup"

    Same to the fans.

As General Macarthur Speech "Old soldiers never die they just fade away" :(

Are you kidding? Hakeem's right up there with Jordan as the best player of the 90s. I only wish they would've met in the Finals and put any doubts to rest.
