He's young. He's not Durant. I do think he can be a winner, he's going to have a Lebron-like turnaround. He's so talented, the moment he stops shooting to draw fouls, he'll grow. It seems he got hit hard by the playing-starter-minutes wall. For the first 2/3 of the season he was unfathomably good. The last 1/3 of the season, all his shots are short because he doesn't have enough lift. And he needs to learn how to defend.
Which bit have I said is wrong? He has been in a prolonged shooting slump but has still been a great player because of his ability to draw fouls.
Agreed, 5-stars all the way. Can we get a show of hands from those who anticipated making the playoffs this season? How about a show of hands for those who thought we could compete against OKC following the Harden acquisition. If you can't enjoy the unexpected success of this team and be satisfied with the significant step forward then go find a front running team to follow instead
He is our #1 option even if we get another superstar, so please stop this non-sense, he is young and making stupid decisions but with a little improvement he can be unstoppable.
#1 option or not, GOTTA MAKE FREE THROWS LATE in the game and with a TIE *update* And TAKE CARE OF THE BALL!
He didn't want the last shot. Sure there was a double team, but he would've gotten a better look than Delfino and if he missed, there may have been time for an offensive rebound and 2nd shot attempt. Harden had a p-ss poor 4th quarter. He did make a couple free throws and initiated the play that set up the Garcia 3-pointer that nearly won them the game, but he had 2 horrific turnovers in the last couple minutes and a pathetic attempt at drawing a foul right before that. He's a terrific player, but I agree that he's not a #1 guy. If he's your 2nd best player or at least is alongside someone who's his equal, then you've got a helluva team. But the front office is gonna have to get him some help.
