Apparently, all we have to do is trade Howard or Harden for Kobe and he'd be a fool not to sign. He says winning is his #1 priority and all of sudden thinks Kobe is going to get him there.

The chemistry would be bad, and it is still possible the Rockets settle for Rondo, or make a deal for Anderson or Ilyasova.

 

Well your grasp on the definition of feminine is a bit off. You are placing ambiguity on a word that is defined in a concrete manner or "characteristic usually unique to women." So before you throw accusations, a dictionary purchase may be in order.

 

Currently, the Cavaliers have 9 players under contract accounting for 33.7 million cap space currently taken up. This does NOT include the Team Options for Varejao, Gee and Hopkins next year for a total of 15.5 million in extra salary. (unable to find evidence of whether or not any of the options were excercised).

Even assuming Cleveland decided not to exercise any of the 3 options, a current cap structure of 33.7 million + Lebron max contract of 22 million (roughly) + 12 million for Wade = 67.7 million and over the cap projection of 63.2 million by 4.5 million without even addressing any salary for Bosh.

There is simply no way Cleveland can clear enough cap space to land all 3. Too many players would need to be traded away to make it happen.

 

I think if Lebron heads to Cleveland, then they trade Wiggins for Love and have a big 3 of Lebron, Love and Irwin.

If Lebron stays, I don't see how Lebron can gracefully tell Bosh to take a hike for Melo so I think the 3 amigos all stay. Melo takes NYK's cash.
