    Sloppy reporting....

ALL of the teams interested in Melo have engaged other moves.

He shouldn't have said that, but I don't understand why people rag on players for chasing the most money. I think it benefits the league for players to take the biggest contract out there, otherwise you end up with just a handful of super teams.

Just to try and bide some time until the first domino falls.

Lets me optimistic for a moment...instead of saying no one signs with houston...what if both melo and bosh want to.

If it came down to it, and both Melo and Bosh decided to choose the rockets for the max we can offer. What should the rockets do, and why?

Hilarious. He couldn't even take the Knicks to the playoffs in the East...

Easy, sign Bosh. Melo is a sexier name but Bosh fits this team's needs like a glove. Parson will be retained and we can add that key stretch four that we so covet. Bev/Harden/Parsons/Bosh/Howard best starting lineup in the NBA in my opinion.

I thought KD will be a FA in 2016, not 2015?

Given that those two guys are the only choices in this scenario, I'd have to say Bosh.

Defense would be the tipping point for me, Bosh plays it, Melo rarely does.
Melo's strong suite is scoring, which honestly we do not lack in, so who is the better defender would be the thing that decided it for me.

That isnt even looking at it from a team building standpoint, the Rockets love Parsons at the three and we dont really have a PF that could be considered one of the top 10 PFs in the league, which I think Bosh is.

If you type in: "When will Kevin Durant be a free agent?" into Google, you'll get this at the top:

    2016

Kevin Durant is under contract in Oklahoma City through the end of the 2016 season, yet a former player and current analyst made an outlandish and baseless prediction that Durant would leave the Thunder in free agency as soon as he had the chance (and go to Houston).
