Kobe is a beast, always has been. The problem is he is not likely to stay healthy all 82 games in a season anymore. Can he be ready for the playoffs? Because the last 2 years he has missed the most important part of the season.

Lakers can get an elite coach tomorrow if they want. They're letting FA's "choose" their coach as a bargaining chip.

They can't trade Nash for 3 reasons.

    #1 Nobody Wants Him
#2 He has a huge trade kicker that jacks his salary over 11 million if he's traded
    #3 See #1

So he's going to win the following season when Kobe is 37? I don't have a handle on their cap situation or what moves they have available but Carmelo is 30 as well and take it from Denver and New York, you're not winning anything if he's the best player on your team. Nothing about LA says I'm going there to win.

New York has the max, the glam, and the eastern conference. I get that.

UCLA Asst coach confirms said it was true also. Looks like Love is trying to hide.

Is Cyber a Rocket insider or is he a Laker Insider? I get a strong Ramona Shelburne vibe to some of his posts.

    I think he's a Lakers fan / "insider"

He is interesting to follow though.

Definitely think he has more sources with lakers and they are more free spilling the koolade which cyber drinks from plentifully.

Still appreciate the info but you gotta read through the lakers colored glasses

He claims no team but "the Buss family has always been good to him".

I was reading along trying to catch up and I thought I was reading 5 pages of ESPN News quotes from "Many Sources" and "The queen of Laker denial" Shelburne. That explains a lot.

"Jordan Farmar on choosing LAC over LAL: "It was, 'Yeah, we like you, we'd love to have you here,' but I didn't know what I was waiting for"

Camelo won't come to Houston, we need to move our focus.

If the Lakers give Carmelo the full max.
The only way they could pursue Gasol is if they either traded Nash (not likely) or used the stretch provision on him.

Assuming they used the stretch provision, they could then offer Gasol just a little bit over 6mil/year. They could offer the same to Thomas. They wouldn't have the money to try to get both.

Isn't Chandler there too? Surprised he wasn't mentioned as a Laker target because h played a pick up game with Kobe.

Wish Morey can pull the trigger and let these trades happen.

McHale got Dwight Howard and still has a job. Can't say the same thing for the two Mikes.
