Yeah, I didn't get Americas. I mean it's good and all, but it's a chain. SO many better places to go in Houston than Americas.

 

You're thinking of Amazon Grill. Americas is slightly more upscale than Churrascos. That one in River Oaks is real nice. Chronicle had it in its top 100 restaurants in Houston list.

 

Because.. Maybe melo loves Americas and ASKED to go there

I don't believe Americas is a chain. It is one of the Cordua restaurants that are all sort of similar (Americas, Churrascos, Amazon, Artista). The Churrasco steak in Americas is one of my favorite steaks ever. $60+ for 12 oz though.

The ambiance of that location is sick but there are so many places that are better, but not all of them are open at that time.

 

I think they have 3 locations in the Houston area, and that's it. Do they have spots outside of Houston area?
