From NBATalk.com... Rockets fizzle out Rockets officials say they have yet to hear from Charles Barkley about his widely reported plan to come out of retirement for the team's final game of the regular season, April 19 against the Grizzlies. If Sir Charles, who has been working as an NBA analyst for Turner since he injured his left knee in a Dec. 8 game at Philadelphia, intends to play, he will need approval from Rockets team doctors. Given the uncertain future of Hakeem Olajuwon, who is sidelined indefinitely with a respiratory disorder and has yet to say for certain that he will play out the final year of his contract in 2000-01 (Rockets brass would love to see him retire), it's possible Sir Charles could go out in style while the Dream -- the greatest player in franchise history -- gets no such glorious sendoff. ------------------ The clock is winding down, and Scottie has the ball, Cato is sprinting towards him, Pippen shoots and here comes Cato. Man did you see that block?!!! Ouch it hit Scottie right between the legs. ITS FINAL!! THE ROCKETS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF Y2K!!!
