we'll be contenders if the rockets get another all star scoring option and one or two more role player, and veteran locker room leadership.

Yao's game is soft not him personally. No one in the NBA is soft. They made it. It takes hard work to get to where they are. That right there is not soft at all.

I would love to have Bosh on this team, but he has get rid of those damned dreadlocks. He looks hideous with 'em. If i were an NBA player I'd probably take my 15 game suspension for pulling him down by them.

Not sure if that would be worth it. Bosh would be fantastic but I'd love to see a stronger back court rather than messing up our frontcourt. I'd feel no loss with Tmac if we could get a decent guard though.

This is one of the only realistic situations in which I'd be OK with letting Scola go. ...

I think it looks cool. It makes him look like a Klingon.

    Chris Bosh?

He's clearly not too happy with the play of the Raptors and think he may leave if they don't pick up their play. If Tracy walks, maybe we stand a chance to get him. He is the hard working type of player we need, someone who can create his own shot, block shots and clean up the glass. With his athleticism, I think Landry should be able to make the adjustment to small forward and get the minutes he wants. Scola would still get a fair amount of playing time backing up Yao and Bosh.

By the way, if this topic has already been discussed, go ahead and lock it up!

    PG-Brooks/Lowry
    SG-Ariza/Buddinger
    SF-Landry
    PF-Bosh/Scola
    C-Yao/Scola

He seems to have made it clear he's leaving this offseason..

Multiple hints have led people to believe that he either wants to play in Florida or Texas.
"I hate cold winters" is one example.

Sounds intriguing but in my opinion I don't think we need another low-post player. I know Bosh can shoot from the perimeter but still...we need that dominant swingman who can create shots and score on will, like D Wade.

Barganani is more of a PF than a C. If they need to deal away Bosh I could see them looking for a package of Ellis + Biedrins.

You think we're stuck with Tracy if he wants to stay past this contract?

landry can't possibly play sf. he doesn't have the foot speed and he'd get burned on d every single time.

i am not a huge bosh fan. he's good to have, but i am not as crazy as some on this board. if we have bosh, then landry or scola can be let go. you can't keep everyone; neither do you need to.
