Look i don't want to argue with you further, just watch the Rockets-Spurs match and maybe you will realise how much we need a go to guy and some length defensively.

bosh will prevent teams from walking into the paint
if you mind watching one raptor game, just one.. please
perhaps you will change your mind about him defensively
if anything, he is probably the worst in guarding the paint
you have no clue about the bosh the player
its more than the stats you see on nba.com

    Team game.
Bosh is a poor defender on the raptors because none of their starting 5 gives a stuff about defense.

This team has good perimeter defenders, what this team needs is some length.

Or we can just settle with being repeatedly dunked on by scrubs like Humphris and Tim Thomas.

    Team, TEAM.

It the same with the Yao-Battier thing happening now, Battier's deficiencies are being magnified because we not longer have a player that can alter shots.

Bosh's defiencies are being magnified because of the weak ass permieter "defenders" they have. If Bosh was on the Rockets it will be a different story, no he won't become an elite defender, but his defiencies won't be as obvious.

Agreed. I'd stick to Scola and Landry for less than half of his money. Bosh is soft, can't be your No.1 guy for an elite team.

are you high school, college, or graduate? if you are now saying you were inserting "wishful thinking" to indicate that was merely a joke, then you failed to make a joke.

"i wish you turn into an idiot.
    wishful thinking."

now do you feel that was a joke?

no, you didn't hurt my feelings. the only ones whose feelings are hurt this year are the mcgrady fans who say things like player over a team.

the only thing i feel sad about this board is some immature posters bring its quality down a bit. otherwise it could be more fun and more quality bball talks. but that's the reality of any internet board, i guess.

Oden would be perfect for this team?

Bosh is 6'10" and has a 7'3" wingspan.

You have to be one of the most clueless posters I ahve seen here and thats saying alot. Please go to the ESPN boards where you belong. :p

I would rather have a soft frontcourt with Bosh than a soft back court with TMac.

Anyone that thinks Yao is soft needs to be banned. They obviously don't watch the games.

Why do people call Yao soft anyways? Because he doesn't dunk on people all the time?

Not every is as gifted as Dwight, who can get away with no having any basketball skills.

I love Yao but I think

    Bosh+Scola+Landry+Hayes > Yao+Bosh+Landry/Scola/Hayes

Bosh has better mobility, more versatile and most importantly, would fit better in Rick Adelman's offense. Basketball wise it's better to trade Yao than a whole bunch of players for Bosh. But then I believe Yao will stay anyway for the most obvious reason.
