I dunno about this deal, but any rational person will tell you that they robbed the Rockets blind in the Rudy Gay for Battier trade.

    Just the assessment is wrong!

    It's like saying

Greene can still make a living on the 3pt line, but Arthur has to turn his game into a carreer (sic) in the NBA.

The thing is, based on what they've accomplished in the past you'd have to say that there are serious question marks over Arthur. He doesn't rebound, is too small to play in the paint (6'8, 220) and doesn't have a good enough outside shot to play away from the hoop (16% 3point from the college line).
12 points and 6 boards at college is crazy bad - but because he can put the ball on the floor at the PF spot he's seen as a 'prospect'? I highly doubt it!

Maybe he'll be 'mentally ready' for every game at the NBA level? But so far in his life he's given no reason to think that...

No idea why he was a first round pick.

I haven't read any of this thread, but I know how it is going so far anyway. So, I thought I'd do my part! :D

time to post the great D. Arthur summer league stat line of the night:

    22 minutes, 1-7 fg shooting, 1-2 Ft shooting, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 9 fouls, 0 steals, 1 turnover, 1 block, 3 points...

    he's a bust for sure...i'm calling it now :D

Keep in mind that those stats are for the only first quarter of his first summer league game.

You really have no business being sarcastic when you had not once specified that those were his first quarter stats. YOU obviously knew they were his first quarter stats, but you didn't let anyone else know that (like someone who wasn't watching the game).

I still don't see how Greene fell so low in the draft...he should've at least went in mid first round.

The answer to TC's original question is yes, Greene can definitely top that.

Darryl Morey proves his genius once again..

    So yeah. Greene balled tonight.

40 pts on 12-20 fg, 5-10 3's, 11-12 ft's with a nice assist down the stretch. Now the answer to this thread, thus far, has been answered.

So after Green's debut, I guess we can now trade Novak for a pack of chewing gum.
