I read on the other board, Artest is considering retiring. Wow, Ricky Williams will have a camp mate in the outbacks.
moderator, why was this post moved?? Please explain. Did you even read the thread before you moved it??? This is related to the Rockets.
You know this is the same guy who, while making millions of dollars on his rookie contract, tried to work weekends at Best Buy in order to receive the employee discount. They turned him down when they called his referance, the Bulls.
Yeah, heard that b4, but thought he worked at bestbuy for a while until the team found out. He is truly special. His teammates are afraid of him too. But he can be a heck of a player. You need a coach who knows how to deal with him or another player (must be superstar like MJ to rodman) mentoring him.
Actually, it's in no way related to the Rockets. Player being involved in a ludicrous trade rumor doesn't mean any news concerning him is automatically Rockets news.
Really...Mr Miguel...What about the ludicrous J ONeal trade last season???? Was that less ludicrous than Artest trade?
The validity of the trade rumor has nothing to do with the fact that it is in no way "Houston Rockets" related when Ron Artest requests time off to further his rapping career.
http://espn.go.com/nba/columns/smith_sam/1466956.html "Artest is quite generous, probably too much so for his own good. He supports a legion of family and friends, and in his rookie year with the Bulls he even tried to get a job on Sundays at the Best Buy electronics store near his home. The Bulls didn't practice on Sundays, NBC wasn't scheduling them anymore for obvious reasons and Artest was buying all this electronic equipment for his friends -- so he figured he'd get the employee discount. The Bulls put a stop to that."
No no no, not you. artificial started a thread in the GARM and then complained about it being "rockets related"
