Based on what he is saying, I can assume that he wants more money on his next contract. which I don't think we will be able to afford the way our owner has been paying. artest pretty much telling the kings that he is willing to stay eventhough you traded bibby away. With Martin and artest they are still a team that can win games. This year's FA market is bad, so not an advantage to the players. GM has the upper hand this year so ron's best option would stay put for one more year.
I am not surprised he wanted to stay in Sacramento. Late into the season, the Kings were quite formidable at home as their team started to gell. The issue here is whether the Kings wanted him to stay. There were a few games where they actually played better without Artest near the end of the season.
If Boozer's hair grew in he'd be a spitting image of Dracula. That said, I believe some of the best trades are the ones you don't make. The only person I'd like to see gone is Head and Jackson.
