Better to gamble than to lose, every single time.

    Tonight vs. SA

    Artest: 6/11 for 13pts/5reb/2stl

    Bynum: 4/7 for 10pts/10reb/6ast/3blk

Lakers aren't trading anybody on their roster.

Pipedream for anybody thinking we can get Bynum.

Artest also did a superb job on Ginobli, who finished 5-17 from the field with 3 TOs.

Artest can still play a little defense but he has a low basketball IQ. He never could grasp Adelmen's offense and his habit of jacking up ill-advised shots drove everyone crazy. And with a high price tag to boot, I really question why anyone would seriously consider trading away any of our young assets, many of which are critical to landing a future high quality player, in exchange for a guy who is clearly past his prime and on the decline.

Artest alone is a very unattractive piece, but I would be willing to shoulder his contract/burn assets if it meant also acquiring Andrew Bynum.

How this poll is even close is beyond me. Have people actually watched Artest play this year? Heck, have people even just checked his stats?

Unless the Lakers are attaching 3 1st rounders to Artest, one for each year left on his contract, no way Morey even answer the phone.

When was the last time the Lakers become a lottery team?

The idea of us trading for Artest right now is totally crazy. I'd listen if the Lakers were willing to include Bynum (unlikely) or Gasol (never) but if they're offering Artest alone -- no way.

1st round picks are still valuable even late in the draft. If they are giving up another Marc Gasol in one of those 3 years, it's better than 6'5" Chuck Hayes.

I bet with anyone, that Scola at 37 (CURRENT NASH AGE)...i mean in SEVEN YEARS....will be healthier than Bynum is now....

But hey, I guess some fans need more injury prone players to feel happy....

Players who NEVER GET INJURED seems to be disliked among the fans community....

    Huh?

Scola's one of the most liked Rockets on this board. His value has hit the ceiling, and it makes sense to flip him for young talent to spearhead the rebuilding process.

When you see a lot of fans b****ing about him during games, you have doubts about how liked he is...

more than disliked, I'd say undervalued....

BTW, who no one answer....if Nash is playing practically at his best level at 37.....what makes you think that unbreakable Scola will be finished sooner?

Why nobody answers? specially the guys suggesting that Scola is 'too old'?
