    ...that's a pretty fierce rivalry. I had a hard time believing they would have seriously considered that but good point nonetheless.

    If I understand correctly, the only reason this has to wait until Aug. 14th to become official has something to do with Greene's status.

    Can somebody confirm and explain this in more detail if it's true?

    Since Donte Greene signed his contract, the Rockets have to wait 30 days, August 14th is when the clause wears off, until they can trade him.

    basically we signed greene on july 14th and you have to wait 30 days after you sign a player before you can trade them, so thirty days later is august 14th

    i understand he's a project and raw talent, but you saw what his potential was at the summer league. he can light it up. I think artest is more short term reward while he was better in the long run. oh well

    yes i'll be pissed if there are problems in those 2 weeks

    and the deal wont happen, but if nothing goes wrong it will happen

    then artest will be officialy a rocket
