How long does it take a story like this to reach ESPN? I want to watch the hastily put together highlight package.

    This is fun.

I was lost in the AI thread for a moment.

Artest is a headcase sometimes, but he is also a headhunter. I like the direction Morey is taking us.

Boy...how important was it that Donte Greene had a good summer league?

I know most of us are eager to see a Artest/Battier defensive duo, but I think Morey is going to parlay Battier and Francis/Head/Novak into a legit PG.

Artest adds that much more versatility to the roster.

If I was Landry, I'd fire my fake agent and sign a fair deal with the Rockets

Don't get too excited. This is the Rocket's were talking about. Nothing ever goes right. I'm expecting the worst.

But you can always hope. :)

Why hasn't ESPN reported this yet?

As long as it takes them to come up with a negative light for Houston.

"Houston gives up promising young rookie and future for headcase Artest"

Man I'm not quite sure about what he's gonna do in the next seasons but we got Adelman and Deke (he makes every1 a better person aint it?), hope he'll behave.

    OMFG!!!

I still cant believe Morey pulls out this trade. Morey doesnt seem to have the balls to do it.

I am a big Artest fan. Let's pray! The coming season will be an really exciting roller coaster ride.

We are more fortunate not to give up Luis Scola.Ron is a big 3 but not a 4. Battier can come off the bench where he belongs. Having Shane for extra defense will help if/when Ron goes wild though.

I feel sad for you guys. He is extremely talented yet he will not control himself because he will not follow doctor's orders with repect to mental health medications.

This Pacer fan warns you-- this is not a great day for the Rockets UNLESS (somehow) he changes when he has never ever ever been willing to change.

If Artest can keep his head on straight then we will witness carnage with most teams the rockets play.
