Barkley didn't respond to it. I thought he would sort of make a joke back at Ron.

Kind of reminded me of when T-mac made the cupcake joke about Charles. He just took the joke in stride.

Haha, yeah. The way he plays also seem like he's not all there too. There go our slim hope of somehow sneak to WCF without awake the giant. Artest talks too much while basically a no show just like someone we know and love :p

man you can tell that he got in barkleys head . barkley was pissed so he just made fun of his hair.
Im glad that he compimented roy . hes one of the best in the league and people dont know it, also im glad he dissed kobe lebron and charles barkley(he is overrated)

yall need to stop being so scared of kobe, thats the way you beat him is to get into his head. thats how you want it to be with LA.

Maybe he can pull off some tangible great moves on the court! 5/20 is okay against the Bobcats, but not in the playoffs.

    not really,
charles was a freak of nature. a guy that short grabbing all those rebounds and winning an mvp.

an old charles barkley grabbed like 33 rebounds for the rockets. i doubt any rocket can do that now.

Some people are SOOOOO scared of the Lakers......and Kobe.

We are going to D up like the Celtics did last year, and Kobe and the softies will be exposed...

we can't even D up brandon roy and he's not even close to kobe. we can't even D up aldridge, and he's not even as good as gasol.

but yes, hating on barkley was low. dude had so much game for being such a small guy. i wanna see artest do what barkley does when he's stronger, taller, and faster.

Lol no one was taking it seriously, I honestly feel like Artest started joking around and saying whatever, wouldn't be the first time.

i love artest's attitude but he is horrible at interviews. he sounds so unintelligent and from the streets but hey, just win games for us and its all good.

Barkley had elite decision making in the post (left block). With the Rockets he was more efficient in the offense than Hakeem. He was also a vacuum cleaner on the boards. Watch his board work in game 1&2 in 94 and 95 against the Rockets in the 4th quarter. He was dominating the opposition. He also had 33 rebounds once while with the Rockets. Barkley could dominate guys taller than him because of his long arms, explosiveness, & girth. If he worked on his game/body as Artest does, the final product would have been ridiculous...

Ron is always an interesting interview, as evidenced by this and Carmichael Dave's show.

Some of the stuff he says is so random...I wonder if he's pulling an Andy Kaufman on us.

You need to chill buddy. Ron was playing with Chuck...

We understand that you do not like Ron. Fact is, We are 3-2 with him, and he is contibuting to a team that is about to get out of the first round, which has not happened in more than a decade. He might not be shooting great, but he is putting in the hard work and intangibles that the playoffs require.

    btw, matchups G. matchups...

It has been beaten to a pulp in other threads concerning the strange matchups that the Blazers have on us.
