Well since Tracy didn't put himself in position to make lay-ups I guess that means he had a better game considering Artest put himself in position for 3 missed layups.

No it's not you, he dribbles worse than Luther Head. For some reason both of the worst dribblers on the team tried to dribble more than they have to.

No, no I'm sorry this is pissing me off. Ron Artest gets a pass and T-Mac gets blamed. T-Mac brought is back to a 4 point game, and them Artest Missed a 3 just like in SA. Artest played like ass in the game on offense. 4 missed FT's in the 4th quarter. Countless missed lay-ups and wide missed 3 Pointers. Oh and that play where he only got the ball and took it to the lane and got blocked where no one else touched the ball, What was that! T-Mac gets the blame for this? Do you know he's playing on a surgically repaired leg and is supposed to be out until January, and is still out there. Artest is playing like a ball hog on offense and is a TO Machine as of now.

Ron was hobbled as well, And we would have been blown out long ago if it was not for his defense and rebounding..................

T-Mac has lousy offensive games two. He went two for LA as somebody at the Chronicle put it recently.

The difference between the two is that no matter how much he's struggling Artest hustles. And he always brings it on defense.

    He is averaging 1.8 turnovers.

Rebounding is the ultimate hustle and effort stat, Hufort if you will, Tracy had 1, Ron had 13.........

Really? Who was Ron guarding? Terry went off for 31 and Dirk went off for 24. Dirk molested Scola in the midrange and Terry burned Alston and Brooks all game.

I know Ron was hobbled which is why i'm not blaming anything more on him than I am the whole team in general, but to say he played far better than T-Mac is not true.

The whole team sucked, there's no need to bring up "Oh Ron played much better than Tracy tonight" unless you're just a hater. Missing those point blank layups were huge, and the FTs. But like I said, it's just best to move on and realize the Mavs really do suck. They barely beat us given how bad we sucked (2/17 in the 3rd quarter!? Come on!) plus they needed a 31 point performance from the Shet to do it.

Is this guy going to take it to the hole or are we paying him to hoist that ugly ass shot of his?

I think his past has made him into a good stealer but not a good shooter.

Hmmm, Him and Tracy both shot the same percentage........

Yet Ron had 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals to go with it.....

The difference is that if Ron is having a bad shooting game, it really does not mess with the rest of his game and his mentality........And I praise him for taking it to the basket instead of settling for 3's even though he missed a few last night................

Are you dumb? Tmac is on this team to create and to score, not to rebound. Why would you want a SF/SG to get 10 rebounds? Can you at least think of a more intelligent reason to hate?

Who said anything about 10 rebounds? Like it or not T-Mac got one stinking rebound, to go along with his one stinking assist.

Magic was a rebounder, Jordan was a rebounder, Hell Steve was a rebounder etcetcetc.........
    EVERYONE NEEDS TO REBOUND........

If Jason Kidd can grab 9 boards a game, You would think Tracy could grab like 6 or 7 by accident.

It takes heart and determination to rebound......
Tracy was at one time an excellent board man......

He put in a sub-par performance with regards to every aspect of his game. Ron Ron had a sub-par shooting night but he still worked his ass off and that shows in his rebound stats and steals. No matter what kind of night Artest is having he hustles. T-Mac just looks lackadaisical out there. To me and a lot of other people that post here it doesn't even look like he's trying.

I post here because I'm a Rockets/Adelman fan. I'm rapidly losing any admiration I had for McGrady.

that's weird, in the game thread, there were a few that said tracy showed some heart after that block on kidd on the fast break

you never had admiration for tracy anyways, so what is there to lose?

Guys, I don't think we can really blame anyone for this loss. Considering the previous game they left with an injury, considering the sudden loss of Yao. Did you really expect for Tmac and Ron to go off for 30 each?

I like how if they play poorly through an injury, they get **** on. If they sit out they are p*****s. What the hell do you want them to do?

That being said, Ron played better because he tried taking it to the basket at least. At the same time, he missed FTs and layups. Although you can't really b**** at a guy for missing FTs and layups because its either you miss them or you make them. Tmac didn't really do anything wrong in that game. He was injured and he didn't try and take stupid shots when others were hot, just when the game was almost out of reach and no one else was hitting.

Really, it was just a game of "we missed em', they made em'". Its not like we didn't take it to the basket, we got 30 FTs. Its not like we didn't create wide open shots, we just missed them. If Barry makes one of those 3s, if we make a few more FTs we win the game. And game threads about how the role players really stepped up would've been created rather than this crap about blaming people.
