Astroesque...but with a physically unable to perform squad, which is why they are not 'up there'.

Now that Artest's value is close to zero. If he said he can play for Houston. Would you want him?

Just tried Artest for Moochie and Sura and it works! :D

Just heard on NBA TV that the deal may not be dead. Why doesn't that surprise me!!! The guy is as bad as a max player with 4 years left on his deal who blows out his knee, except in Artest's case he blew out his brain years ago.

The Pacers should suspend him w/o pay for the rest of the season.

you aren't allowed to do that. Just like the Eagles were still paying Owens even though he wasn't playing. Don't you think it would have been done already. A greivance would be filed by the players union before they could blink and espescially since artest has since said he would play for the pacers, and that its the pacers who feel they need to part ways and not reconcile.

If the Rockets are interested in Ron Artest:

    then the question should be,

what does Atlanta want for Al Harrington???

If Indy was willing to move Artest straight up for Peja, then obviously they would be willing to move Artest for Harrington, wouldn't everybody here agree, as long as they can get some assurance that Al wants to come there and will consider the possibility of re-signing with them.

    but Atlanta doesn't want Artest

    so if Houston is interested

what does Atlanta want for Harrington?

I would think Atlanta would want.........assets, assets, assets.........#1 pick, and good young players with cheap contracts or good contract/potential ratio. They were wanting a play making starting point guard which seems to be their weakness.

I would think the Rockets would be willing to give up Stromile for Artest. I would think they would seriously consider throwing in their #1 pick. I would think they may even be willing to throw in Rafer to Atlanta in exchange for either Delk or sending Delk to Indy and sending AJ/Gill to Houston. I would think Atlanta probably wants Head.

My guess is Luther is the player the Rockets do not want to give up in an Artest deal.

From what I understand the Pacers may terminate his contract for "action deterimental to the team" type deal. In essence fire him.
