Ok now, you may be asking yourself. What's so artistic about paint on a mans face?... Well scroll down a tad and you'll see...

It's not the paint on the mans face, but the paint that IS the mans face.

He gets a person. He puts paint over the person's face. He takes a photo in high ISO (note the noise). He traces the photo over the canvas (note the sketch before he paints it). He colors the canvas with pencils (this might be the more impressive aspect of it).

Yay. Yippee. Whoop dee doo, an artist. Well done. Yay. He's pretty good at having it down. It's not unbelievable if done right.

And they want people whose opinion isn't the popular "nice" one or don't agree with yours?

It's impressive skill. I kind of question using that skill to paint a dude's face covered with...well, paint. But I guess that's his artistic vision.

I'm not sure what your point is that you can recognize the process he used? Awesome job. Is that supposed to make it less impressive? You seem to think it'd be easy to do so let's see yours.

No, you just have a knack for sounding like a dick when you don't agree with something or critique something.

2:10 here. I knew it was a photograph.

OK. Maybe you're not used to that. You have your opinion. That's OK.
Just because I don't do it or I'm not an "artist" doesn't mean I have to agree with everyone here in awe or saying this is "unbelievable." I said he does it right. Amazing? Not to me. I am sorry if this disappoints people who don't know technical aspects of photography-to-canvas or digital-to-physical transformations. - :) -

He should just put paint on people's faces and take a photo and be done with it. That way he can put in more hours at the 7-eleven instead wasting his time.

As a photo, it isn't interesting for very long. It is in knowing the technique that it becomes interesting.

It's amazing work... but not my cup of tea. I see no reason why I'd ever want to look at these pictures ever

Swoly-D will make u one of those in MS Paint for $20 no problem, right cuñado?

Btw, the technique and skill are impeccable but the final product is nothing I'd care to define art.

It says nothing. It's a testament to skill and that's great but that's why you have artists and art forgers.
