The option that 'pere brings up is the one I've been hoping for- trade a starter (Hakeem) for another starter and cap fillers who's contracts end this season. I like this idea; in fact, it's my favorite. I'm sure some fans would be really shocked to see our legend go for some middle of the road player... but he wants to go. If we get somebody we need, great. That's ideal, in fact. Somebody would have to be pretty damn good to start on this team. There are not many players who could start ahead of SA or Mo. I hope it's a center. But I hope Rockets don't take just anybody so they can bow to Hakeem's wishes. Only if the right deal is found, giving us enough cap to sign Mo and Shandy this summer.
Team Chemistry: Losing Hakeem... No post, we're just losing Hakeem. Replaced by Kenny Thomas (since Cato won't do it)... I get the feeling that Kelvin isn't a well-accepted member in the Steve-Cat party scene. Not good. I get the same feeling with KT. He always looks left out... Most disturbing, I get the impression that Steve and Shandon are not close... These two need to be razor tight. Or at least understand each other without talking...If not friends, they do need to be able to communicate quickly. I'm concerned... Please play Carlos more, Rudy. He brings agressive perspective to the floor. Where'd his hair go? Please tell him to F* the headband and the curls - he plays better when it's wild (his hair) My personal experience with wild hair is this: after you've worn an orange mohawk anything goes. Carlos probably just needs a shower. Liberties... [This message has been edited by treeman (edited January 26, 2001).] Sorry, psych factors greatest - and now eat chips, dip is cheezy.... So what you're saying DaneB, is that we're getting Brad Miller?? That really sucks. He's a tool. ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
