Can i get a spoiler free description of how to get to these new episodes from Netflix? It's probably been asked before but forgive me for not wanting to read anything too juicy.

I signed up for it and I clicked on the AD page but it keeps showing me the pilot from '03.

When it starts to play you can use the play bar to select a different episode. It's the button with a stack of frames. Or you can click on the title of the show on the little popup box when hovering over the show with your mouse, that will take you to the show page instead of just automatically playing an episode.

It's sorted by season - look for Season 4.

It picks up after the first three, but definitely isn't on par with old AD.

A nu start for AD is still better than no start for AD.

Exactly, and again what is? I'm happy to see these characters again anyways.

IMO, it's builds slowly but by the fifth episode, it hits a solid groove. That's when they really begin to tie together the multiple perspectives, which is done quite well.

Agreed. I'm through 10 and while it hasn't been as good as the first 3 seasons it has still been pretty funny.

Not sure if these are really spoilers, but I put tags in case.

One thing that might account for the slow start / "unfunniness" throughout the first few, is that we don't get ALL the characters at once. Tobias didn't even really show up until the third episode, iirc, and he's easily the best character, imo.

I understand that they wanted to weave in storylines and connect everything, but I'm getting a little tired of Bluth Sr-centric episodes. Not that Tambor isn't great, but I feel as though they should have had everyone's intro episode first, before delving more into any one character's story.

And was it just me, or was Portia de Rossi unrecognizable when we first saw her in her intro episode? I seriously thought it was someone else playing Lindsay at first.

Yup. My first thought was that she's had some serious work done recently.

No kidding. I just thought she had too much makeup on.

But when she reappeared in episode 4 or 5 or whichever, with short hair, she looked like the Portia of old.

Never have I been so jealous of Ellen DeGeneres.

The GOB episode with Tony Wonder is one of the best episodes of the entire series. Holy crap.

Why didn't they release one episode at a time to build up interest in the series?

Just finished the last episode and I thought it was a great season. Old running gags. New running gags. Many small jokes I'm sure a lot of people missed, even more that I'm sure I missed in the first viewing.

And Isla Fischer is damned hot.

Egg's mom still looks the same. So does Egg for that matter.

GOB is my favorite along with Buster.

You who didn't think it was funny should be ashamed of yourselves.

I plan on going over each episode with a fine tooth comb to see all the jokes I missed. Especially things happening in the background.

    Tobias is so ghey!

Maria Bamford is genuinely amusing; actually think Victoria Jackson could have filled that niche a few years had she kept her weight, not married and completely gone of the radar after SNL and then not re-emerged as a paleo-conservative.
