Well, just for fantasy sake, this is how I'd like our lineup to be:

    Yao/Lampe/Badiane
    Bargnini/Hayes/Paul Davis
    T-Mac/Bogans/Stephen Graham
    Iverson/Head/J-Will
    Alston/V-Span/JL3

    IR: Badiane, Graham, J-Will

Our #6 to #9 pick in the draft, Rafer, Swift, plus Sura and Deke to match Iverson's salary? That's the only one I could come up with remotely palatable to Philly without TMac or Yao.

Webber can still post up and drop 20. They also got a VERY nice player in Andre Iguodala.

Iverson can't coexist with anyone else.

I think it's funny that you mention how Webber can drop 20, and then go on to say that Iverson can't coexist with anyone else.

You are aware that Chris Webber is averageing 20+ppg on the season, right? And that he's getting nearly 19 shots a game?

and remind us again how well that's worked?

sometimes the best player should be taking all of the shots.

Just what we need. A Point Guard that takes 30 shots a game on the floor with T-Mac and Yao.

AI is extremely talented, but to get the most out of that talent he has to be the main scorer on the floor with a good supporting cast.

I don't think the future game plan of the Rockets with Yao and T-Mac needs a score first point guard.

Now if the Rockets figured out that T-Mac is going to be an injury nightmare for the rest of his career and he won't be able to compete at T-Mac levels, you could possibly trade him away in some kind of deal and pick up AI in another.

AI and Yao could probably live together and put up wins, but with a healthy T-Mac, you want your main back court shots coming from him and your main front court shots coming from Yao with a good complement of role players and spot up shooters that play team basketball around them.

If you have a healthy Yao and T-Mac the other role players needed are this:

PG: A good spot up shooter that can distribute the ball.
SG: A bigger, athletic shooting guard that can defend the other players best back court player, shoots decently, and can finish on a fast break. Doesn't need to be a star.
PF: A tougher, athletic rebounder that gets second chance points, works hard, defends well.

None of those players has to be a star, just good at what they do within a team concept. I think the perfect goal is to get 50-55 PPG from Yao and T-Mac with the other points coming from the role and bench players. That would be a winning, competitive, and possibly contending team.

AI doesn't really fit that need.

i'm an AI fan, but i don't see how we could possibly get him and how he could possibly coexist here with T-mac and Yao

I like that about him too.

I just dont like his Happy hands.

He shoots more in one game than Rambo 1, 2, 3, 4...combined.

Sounds like a good combo...on NBA Live. Just kidding :D
Isn't Billy King still the GM for the sixers? Anything can happen if he is GM, he really has an eye for talent ;)

How about the scenario of T-Mac and Head for Iverson and Iguodala? I am all for it. How about you guys?:D

    are they winning?

He can't be cohesive with anyone else, and Webber is 1 damn fine passer and post player. Webber would do more for the team if he had the ball in his hands more, like Sacramento. Iverson needs to feed off of Webber and not vice versa.

if iverson was on this team, there is no doubt he would take less shots and accept a smaller role to be part of a championship run. people said tmac was selfish too, and he and yao coexist very well. a lot of people are forgetting he is still dropping 7.4 dimes/game with an average squad. remember him in the olympics? the guy will accept a different role to win.

i'm all for getting ai as long as we don't deplete an already depleted bench...
