Let's just say Rondo does get traded, does it set any 'trade standard' for guys like Rubes, Dragic or Bledsoe?

Cyberx already said that Morey didn't want Rondo.

Gotta consider age and future salary there.

I don't think Clutch is much of a fan of Rubio.

If this really is inside info, the important thing is that only Sacramento and Knicks are mentioned as suitors. Which reiterates just how little a trade market Rondo has. The Knicks have nothing of value and Sacramento has already pulled out once because Rondo won't commit. So they're not going to pay much at all for a high risk rental.

It does seem to imply that if Morey wants Rondo, he'll get him. The only issue is how much he's willing to give up.

No Rondo and no Rubio. And this from a guy that doesn't want/like any of our PG backups.

Did someone leak that clip? I'm surprised they would allow regular convo to be aired, especially with a comment like this coach doesn't like this player.

Regardless of Morey's preference, I imagine he's got offers out there for all 4 of Rondo, Rubio, Dragic, and Bledsoe. There's no advantage to completely eliminating any of them, as it reduces your negotiating power.

My preference is still Dragic. No questions about talent, fit, health or personality. I like Bledsoe as well and think he would be a good fit. What scares me more than his health history is that he's still relatively unproven.

    Millsap contract expires this season.
Sometimes the simple way is the correct way. I'd save Beverley, who fits very well with Harden, and try to assure Millsap next summer by offering him as much as we can.

Then, substitute some young assets for proven veterans and finish this tale about trade rumors and any substantial moves.

Are all those guys good to be traded at this point? Is Papi the only one that can't be dealt yet?

If Ainge took that deal, he would get roasted by his fanbase - essentially giving away their 'star' for one pick and throwaways... maybe if Papi was added, no outgoing pick, and add a future pick...and Ainge might be able to sell it to his folks...

Ya, well, he just left for vacation today, so I wouldn't expect much for a little while.

If we get Rondo, we also need a stretch four. Kind of like how the Spurs have Diaw spreading the court and Parker as a mid range threat. A player like Ryan Anderson(how many times have we been here?) Would be perfect if we snagged Rondo

IIRC, Cyberx just said Morey has questions regarding his fit on the team. Which may be true or may just be negotiating tactics.

I mean that the personalities between the 2 would be interesting to see as they are completely opposite
