He means Pick N Roll the opposing team to death and some nasty alley-oops.

Rondo will find ways to get Howard easy buckets.

Wasn't Ainge looking for Asik, Lin & Parsons for Rondo around the trade deadline in February? At this point, I would do that deal.

IMO, harden and Howard with their comments this offseason should be credited since they have established that they are the alpha dogs of this team. So if rondo does agree to being trade to Houston, then that means he already understands that this is harden and Howard's team and he can only be no 3 at best and he has to provide veteran leadership and experience to complement h and h

Out of those two, Rondo. Hard to believe Rubio is the better three-point shooter though.

Only problem is none of them is still with us. LOL. I wonder what's the asking price for Rondo now. Between him and Rubio, I'd definitely prefer Rondo.

BOS had interest in Asik, but I think it was in exchange for something like Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee and a draft pick. Asik makes some sense as a player on the Celtics if their plan is keeping Rondo and adding another star (like Love?) to build a competitive team.

If Asik was a part of the Rondo trade package discussed, it would seem that the Celtics' intention would be to flip Asik for additional rebuilding assets-- like the Pelicans pick-- rather than to keep him on a bad team and risk losing him to free agency at the end of the season.

    I couldn't agree more.
Rondo is the ultimate "Buyer Beware" player right now.
I'll wager that most of those clamoring for him in a rockets uni are envisioning the player from 3 seasons ago and didn't pay close attention to the player he was last season.

Plus adding a player who notoriously can't shoot (63% FT!?!?) just seems blatantly counterintuitive for a team with James Harden and Dwight Howard.
When you add his infamously abrasive attitude, the warning signs fluoresce.

If Boston really wanted to trade him they could've done it yesterday:

    Celtics get:
    Alonzo Gee (Non guaranteed)
    Scottie Hopson (Non guaranteed)
    Robert Covington (Non guaranteed)
    Josh Powell (Non guaranteed)
    Donatas Montejunas
    Isaiah Canaan
    NOP 1st Rd Pick

    Rockets get:
    Rajon Rondo
    Bos 2nd Rd Pick

Clutch & Kevoooo have also mentioned Rondo's attitude & chemistry issues and if Doc can't get along with him, then I think his stint with the Rockets would be a disaster.

Also with Rondo, our ft % would be: Howard 57%, Jones/Dmo 61%, Rondo 62%, Ariza 77% and Harden 84%. Since Rondo's a ball dominate pg, he'll have the ball in the last 2 minutes of a close game. As soon he gets the ball, you foul him & its legal because you're making a play on the ball. For those that hate a ft shooting contest, get used to it.

These are the reasons I don't want Rondo on the Rockets.

Please, in any Rajon Rondo musings, consider what it would cost to acquire him vs his FA next summer. (shudder)
