I don't think so. In 1992, the Democrats controlled Congress. You are so busted. Accusing me of "hatred" is so hilarious when you can't even admit what the hell you really are- a liberal. You're part of the little left-wing goosestepping gang here that is consumed with hatred for most of the population of this country(who are right-leaning. We're all a bunch of hayseed hick know-nothings who need liberals to govern us. ) and our President as well. Your little slander strikes me as hilarious and juvenile.
Well, that's just where we differ. I say we need none of that, but states should have the choice, determined by their own govt, what is in their best interests.
I agree with Bamaslammer on something political for once. Too many liberals are afraid of admitting to being liberals...especially here in Texas. Hell even our candidate for Governor ran TV ads claiming "George Bush thinks I am a nice guy"...disgusting I don't know exactly where Bama gets the idea that there are this tiny group of liberals who have contempt for the majority of this country. Since a majority of Americans voted for Gore. As far as contempt goes....nothing more contemptuous than the way Republican policy treats americans once they are born...and before they make thier first 100,000 dollars (though they do really care before the former and after the latter) Also tegular checks to make sure you are sleeping with someone with the opposite set of genitalia...but otherwise not much in the way of caring.
A tiny bit more than for Bush, but thankfully it is the electoral college and not popular elections that determine votes. Caring? Govt.'s intended purpose is not to care for you. It is to protect you and your property from foreign and domestic enemies seeking to take away your rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If "republican" policies force people to fend for themselves, the more the better. There is nothing wrong with hard work.
