you and your fellow partisans are reciprocating for the hate spewed at your hero, W. the problem is that you don't know why you hate obama.
Um, no. You got some kind of dirt trail on B-Bob you'd like me to take a look at? Vs. this board? LOL... so I'm weighing B-Bob's response to EVERY SINGLE PERSON on this BBS during the Bush era now? Wow dude. Do you not agree with the sentiment/idea/concept of his post? If not, you got problems bro!
It's sad that I come across thread after thread of bigtexxx, basso, and others arguing about the same thing over and over and can't come to some sort of common ground. Why do you all bother? You're all entrenched in your positions and won't listen to each other. Why bother arguing over and over across multiple threads on the internet? Do you all even have any common ground? I'm talking conservative, liberals, independents, republican, democrat, etc. Do you all on opposite sides of the issue have any common ground? Any at all?
911 gave us all a common ground, even only for a brief moment if this is truly a terrorist attack, shouldn't it also give us a commong ground?
With B-Bob? No. His posts are just fine here. I suppose I should've said "certain posters" rather than "board." They are just as irritating but receive FAR less backlash from "the board."
There's common ground, but some people (is it not obvious at this point?) have personal pride to protect, grudges to hold, and enemies to provoke and exist at this point to do purely nothing but disrupt and destroy reasonable discourse on this BBS... and quite frankly it ruins it for the rest of us.
I thought I had pretty low expectations for the behavior of (I'm not going to call them conservatives because I don't want to smear conservatives with their ****) the wingnuts, but it's hard to express how appalled I am. It's surprising even to me. They can't wait 24 hours after a horrific national tragedy to try and score political points. No matter how much they bleat about supporting the troops, when push comes to shove, it's got to be all about them and their deranged hatred. You can't reason with people like this. They have a psychological disorder.
But what does that have to do with B-Bob's point? It is solid. If you want to argue against someone asking people to "Stick to the topic" be my guest, but don't expect me to understand it one bit.
Because if he had made that post 2 years ago about the folks screaming at Bush for every little thing, I think it would've been attacked moreso than "repped." Do you disagree? It'd be nice for the moderates here to police their own rather than giving them a "free pass."
I went to basic training at Lackland(SanAntonio) January 24 1985, went to Lowry(Colorado) for tech school as a Munitions Systems Specialist, I was deployed overseas to Soesterberg, Holland(a small town near Zeist). My base was the 32TFS Wolfhounds. Since we were a Tactical Fighter Squadron, our mission was to protect the skies over Northern Europe. I know it's hard for you lefties to believe, but some of us did actually serve in the Armed Forces, amagine that! BTW:I cherished the time I was in the military and serving our country!
Probably so. But then again, I don't think I'd expect you to bring up such a valid point at the proper time since you have a habit of saying really stupid things at the wrong time. (I say that with a lot of love, because come on, we all know you're like a bull in a china shop in here) Err... did you just call me a moderate?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33712858/ns/us_news-tragedy_at_fort_hood/page/2/ A neighbor said Hasan cleaned out his apartment in the days before the rampage. Neighbor Patricia Villa said Hasan came over to her apartment on Wednesday morning and told her he was going to be deployed on Friday. She said he gave her some frozen broccoli, some spinach, T-shirts, shelves and a new Quran, the Muslim holy book. She said he returned on Thursday morning and gave her his air mattress, several briefcases and a desk lamp. Villa said Hasan then offered her $60 to clean his apartment Friday morning after he supposedly was to leave.
