    Wow.

It's like you have a disorder or something.

    "Why did you do this?"

    "I dunno."

here's an update for you, from the same link:

[rquoter]FRIDAY MORNING UPDATE: Daniel Kaniewski, the institute's deputy director, confirms that Hasan attended task force meetings as an audience member, and stresses that he was not a member of the task force. "All of our events are open to the public," Kaniewski says, "and when someone RSVPs we put their name in the [report] so everyone knows who was in the room." He says institute staffers recall Hasan attending at least one task force event, and that he RSVP'd for several. "We do recall him speaking at one of our events as an audience member," he says, "but none of us recall what he actually said. Generally, our events are attended by people in the homeland security community, and Hasan had a very legitimate reason to be there. He was a fellow at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences."

McClatchy reports that Maj. Malik Nidal Hasan attended "training in disaster and preventive psychiatry at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Bethesda, Md.," and his Virginia medical board license lists his name as "Nidal Malik Hasan," reversing the first two names of the identity reported so far and spelling "Nidal" differently than earlier reports did. (The New York Times is now reporting that his name is, in fact, Nidal Malik Hasan). So it seems likely that the "Nidal Hasan" affiliated with Uniformed Services University (USU) listed as a task force participant, the "Nidal Malik Hasan" listed by Virginia's state medical board as practicing psychiatry at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and by reported by McLatchy as having studied at USU, and the "Malik Nadal Hasan" who practiced psychiatry at Walter Reed identified in various media reports as the shooter are all the same person. Or were the same person.[/rquoter]

I served for 4 years in the Airforce under president Reagan, yesterday's bad news affected me greatly, I took the rest of the afternoon off and cancelled all of my appointments. When I saw Obama addressing our nation about this tragedy, I felt even more upset, it's like the man-child has zero clue about the office he is holding, America and Americans deserved better than this.

If I was a soldier now, there is no way in hell I would stick around under the leadership of this clown.

This made me even more appreciative of our brave men and women who have to serve under this abomination of a president!

Your comment is pretty disgusting by itself. Who are you to say esteban wasn't in the military? Grow up.

My father is a Korean vet, proudly, and volunteers time with disabled vets five days a week. He voted McCain and does not like Obama. Vets like my dad and those he works with could never call the commander in chief a "clown," especially for the little molehills being amplified here.

    it is so, so tired.

    Look. At. The. Thread. Title.
This is not about Obama, clowns, unless you make this, just like the glass of milk you spilled yesterday, about your deep and immediate hatred of Obama. If he farts, he's rude. If he doesn't fart, he's not a real man. If he smiles, he's a clown. If he doesn't smile, he's arrogant and detached. If he sleeps on his left side, he's a communist. If he sleeps on his right side, he's a fascist.

Okay, enjoy your latest hate-the-POTUS fest. If you would like real and detailed grounds on which to really critique him, these are available, useful, and interesting to the nation's health. I'm not holding my breath though.

yeah, i'm not the one posting that all soldiers should leave the army because our president took a couple minutes in an address to people before he sent his condolences to the soldiers affected by the tragedy. you people will not let anything get in the way of your hatred for our president. i shudder to think what your reaction would've been to 9/11 had it happened under obama's watch instead of your king.

And if you were not allowed to be discharged like this shooter "claimed" to have tried, what would you do?

instead you throw your peanut-gallery style attack at esteban, a military veteran, claiming he's a liar. You just don't get it.

I think it's less the fact that he may or may not have been in the army...that's pointless. The fact that he's using this to try to score some political point against the president...that is disgusting.

On this incident, Obama's "leadership" has left something to be desired, in many people's opinion.

Really? You see nothing hypocritical in his reply vs. this board in the past?
