I'm sure when Obama is at the Memorial next week; you and your kind will be accusing him of being there just for the photo Op. You are pathetic This was an American tragedy *******
A little defensive, mc mark? Understandable. I did a little googling, and found that Barack was on capitol hill schmoozing democratic house members to vote for the health care plan...
Which will pass today and Obama will be at the memorial for the fallen next week. Intelligent presidents are deft enough to do more than one thing at a time You disgust me
"Where's the change?" ..."oh there it is." ... ..."Where's the personal visits to disaster areas?" for the record, we're still not past the four-day mark a certain president took to react to a Category Five hurricane striking a major American city. GOTTA LOVE THE BUSH LEGACY
I clearly hit a nerve with you, and we all know what hits a nerve the most - the truth. Obama's leadership on this issue has been non-existant. "Shout-out" leadership isn't going to cut it. Sorry.
I don't involve myself in politics on the internet, but certain posters in this thread should be ashamed of themselves. This is a terrible tragedy that will live with these solidiers families forever. I can't fathom why people can't seperate their personal differences in a thread like this. This has nothing to do with our former president, our current president, ect...Let it go and pay proper respect to those who lost their lives in our honer.
I believe the act of murdering is not glorified at all in Christianity. It's even a sin to kill yourself-suicide. Islam, on the other hand, rewards you for killing yourself and taking infidels with you.
You are seriously criticizing a President for being in Washington, doing his job, when something random happens elsewhere?
This is a terrible tragedy. Respect is due to every soldier who lost their life. I think it's implicit everywhere, even if people have not made it explicit. But there's a reason why this is in D&D. It's something people could see from miles away; people who have no shame using this to score some kind of political point against anyone...I'm certainly not above it. So, perhaps, I can fathom how this can happen...I'm disgusted by it, but not at all surprised. Sad, kinda, but it's the way politics rolls. Bulls*** 90% of the time.
Yeah, definitely. But at least you can count on the people who expect to be pathetic in these topics to be...well, pathetic. clockwork.
Yeah, I have to say I expected a few posters to shame themselves and they have not disappointed. What makes it even worse is that some of these people assert themselves to be "patriots" and they can't look past the fact that American troops died for nothing in their incessant quest to find attack points on Obama. It's like, okay, we get it, you don't like the president. There's certain things I don't like about the president either. But you absolutely dislike him. Cool. It's just that you look like a jackass when you try to compile EVERYTHING against him, when it even gets to the point where you are trying to find ways to take a tragedy like this and warp it into another entry on his list of wrongs. Yes, liberals did it with Bush. Now conservatives get to do it with Obama. Hoorah! The cycle continues. More proof that, if anything, conservative and liberals share one common characteristic; the ability to sling mud over politicized tragedies. sad, sad, sad. But yes, utterly predictable.
Where are you? What are you doing to help? If you are so concerned about leadership shouldn't you be doing something to help other than spouting partisan trash on an internet forum? Your leadership on this issue has been non-existent. Over here we reserve the word "non-existant" for those who complain about lack of jobs while still trying to get their GED.
Indeed. While it might seem callous, Healthcare is more important than these 12 soldiers lives. If he gets the healthcare passed it will be the watershed moment for his presidency. So if it is an either or situation then I am glad obama is prioritizing correctly.
I'm really Glad the Bush's who have a nice amount of free time where able to make the 30 minute drive over to help console the families. It's a great role for Bush and a service to our country. I am not sure Obama consoling families is the proper thing to do. He needs to do his job and pass the legislation. I think him speaking at the memorial next week is great. Thank goodness Obama isn't just trying to please tea-baggers by appearing in Photo-Op at military bases.
Ironic thing is, had Obama indeed gone down there, bigtexx would be accusing Obama of doing photo ops instead of passing legislation. The sad thing is - everyone here already knows that, including bigtexx.
