Partisanship is just another word for "oh ****! i've lost my moral compass, A moral compass don't mean nothing honey if it ain't free
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! "I'll just make something up even though events and facts don't support it."
i think it's funny that people are so conditioned to knee-jerk in this forum that they assume everyone is as partisan as they are
I guess serving in the military to defend your people wasn't the reason you were serving then huh? And it seems like you are lying anyways.
lol. Your posts on this thread are flat out disgusting. Reading them you don't even know what to say. Its sad that god creates human beings with thinking of such a low standard. Just to cement your already flawed logic in your mind, because it conflicts with what is present, you devise your own alternate reality in which you dwell and weep over your already sad life and make stupid claims on an internet message board. I hope you find true meaning of what it is you are trying to prove.
During a time of crisis how can people try to use such a sad situation to advance their partisanship interests?
Two reasons: 1) Difficult circumstances surrounding the horrific event makes it unlikely people will unite together. 2) Everyone has different opinions.
Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world. -- Arthur Schopenhauer
Maybe because of the fallout of his comments about Dr. Gates he learned to be more cautious about rushing to make a rash statement.
And again I stated why he might've done what he did because religion might not have motivated his actions but he used religious practices to strengthen his resolve. It sounds like you have already made up your mind in which case its not surprising you are incredulous at any other possible explanation.
And I would point out again it hasn't been fully ascertained that he wrote those blogs. Also the description of him handing out his Qu'ran appears more to be he was cleaning out his apartment rather that proselytizing. For that matter its not even fully clear he yelled "Allah Akbar." That said people pray all the time before undertaking a difficult task. I've seen basketball players cross themselves before shooting a free throw. I'm just saying you seem to be jumping to a conclusion with incomplete facts. Anyway none of this is a justification for what he did. Whatever the reason though it is still horrible and his punishment shouldn't be any less if it was motivated for a non-religious reason.
how the hell would I post from two accoutns? True Beaner is my log in name, i can't use another way to post from it.
But ironically it is times like these in which we should... I don't care if you are a republican, dem, or w.e. Those soldiers who died were serving everyone, regardless of their political orientation. Both sides should grieve and leave petty matters out of this.
Once the religious, the hunted and weary Chasing the promise of freedom and hope Came to this country to build a new vision Far from the reaches of kingdom and pope Like good Christians, some would burn the witches Later some got slaves to gather riches But still from near and far to seek America They came by thousands to court the wild And she just patiently smiled and bore a child To be their spirit and guiding light
