His shooting is very streaky and his size is disadvantageous. But his handle is better than expected. I wouldn’t mind giving him another chance to prove himself in the training camp next year.

    Chucker Brooks

That is what he is....a chucker......he is Gerald Green - a guy who can shoot you in on rare occasions but more often than not shoots you out.

Dude has been ice cold for a week .... He better heat up and stay that way or he'll find himself back in the G league or actually boarding that flight for New Zealand.

He probably needs another stint in the G league. The NBA lights is too bright for him.

The only plus I can say for him is that he showed his rebounding ability finally the other night and tonight, despite another miserable shooting effort, his defense finally showed up a little bit. He was the only positive +/- player the Rockets had tonight. Still, he’s not ready for the NBA until he finally puts it all together, and so far that hasn’t happened yet. So much potential if he ever does.

People are so impatient. Chances of being instantly good right out of g league are slim. If he can learn to defend and rebound I think his shooting will eventually bounce back. He's been a good shooter his whole career.

I have little doubt that his shooting will eventually bonce back but the honest truth is he hasn't been able to throw one in the ocean from the beach the past few games. Its killed spacing on a lot of possessions .... he's been the weak link in the starting 5.

    What got him here was shooting ..... that's what will keep him here too. 1-7 , 2-13 , 2-4, 0-2 , 3-11 wont.

Doesn't really matter about the spacing, Brooks getting his shot back is more important than even a W that night, even considering Brooks isn't all that important to the team.

26% from 3 over his last 8 games.

Dude has one job, pretty much. He'd better learn to do it consistently.

he’s missing...not off the front rim but rather out of the air. It seems to be sweet or often often supersizedsour. Regrets.

Wait, you do realize that comparing someone to Gerald Green is viewed as complimentary in these parts, don't you? GERALD GREEN IS THE MAYOR OF HOUSTON!

Fits perfectly with Rockets game plan. No one else is willing to chuck that many 3’s... except for Brooks and KPJr. He’s a rook... just needs to work out the nerves. I’d be can produce 2/3 of what he did in Gleague, he’ll be worth keeping for the Tank 2.0 since Bmac moved on.

Excited to see Armoni tomorrow, guard rotation going to competitive but if he can shoot above 38% from deep I think he’ll find minutes with the team.

Brooks needs credit, he's been catching fire and has been one of the main sparks off the bench.

Feels good to have shooters for spacing!

Efficient stat line from Brooks tonight. 3 of 6 3pt.

He's improving, still needs to improve his D.

In crunch time he left Lavine have an uncontested layup.

He just needs to be consistent, he needs to be above 38% from 3...and should be at 40+ percent.....then he deserves to be the guy off the bench.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/hou

Only a couple of guys are shooting ok.

American Snipa Brooks (18pts, 4-7 from three, +15) and Gary Bird (14pts, 4-7 from three, +13) lead the team to a 40% from three shooting night again in another win.

These two have helped transform our teams shooting, spacing and culture imo.

We'll see what happens when we play better teams but definitely improved.
