Dude, Thomas is Stromile Swift Vol.2: a tremendous athlete but nothing between the ears. He can't even start and this is his fourth season.

This is not a report, it is an opinion by a small paper hack.

    .....

I didn't understand the hoopla on the board in the first place, I knew without even looking at any official sources that the Bulls would not be offering up Noah for T-Mac by himself.

I think the posters are going a bit overboard with these trades, except any deals to Washington, where they actually are trying to (possibly) implode team, start dumping salaries, and start looking towards the future. I can see us get an almost free reign in picking up talent from the Wizards vs. any other teams.

Well, whether or not Chicago would be willing to include Noah or Deng in a deal to free up that much cap space would be dependent on what they thought their odds were of signing any two out of Lebron, Wade, Bosh and Joe Johnson.

Even if you missed out on Lebron and Wade, a team with a core of Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh and Rose would be pretty nice.

Have you ever been to been to a sale or market where you had to bargain? This is pretty much how bargaining takes places.

I agree, though. I think we'd more likely be offered Brad Miller (and possibly Tyrus Thomas), more so than any of those two. Still, Deng could be a wild card, if the Bulls don't think he is what they need for the future.

Noah is still on a rookie contract and for his production is more than reasonable price for the Bull and he's an improving big man. He may not have Bosh's overall production, but remember he does things that Bosh can't do as well, rebounding, shot blocking, and team (help) defense. Also, I think the Bulls could probably get Bosh and/or possibly Johnson without touching Deng, Noah, or Rose. The Bulls are probably most concern on dumping Hinrich and Salmons. Also, there cap situation is sort of similar to the Wizards where they are an abundance of expiring contracts. Chicago is going to have alot of cap space anyway in the summer and not as pressed as the Wizards to re-arranged their entire roster.

More than likely since one article mentions both Chicago and Washington the latest deals from Washington had pieces coming back more than likely it's a three way deal with picks involved and cap space.

I'm a firm believer Rockets have two three team trades in the works.

Philadelphia ain't one of them that would probably happen next year.

He may not be the brightest, but he's a lot more skilled than Stro.

This is what i think will happen.

Hou/Was/Chi trade one. Houston basically makes a lateral move here for picks and expiring cap space. Chi does not do the trade unless Caron comes back and Hinrich is moved to Washington.

Hou/NJ/Toronto trade two. Harris could be that missing piece that helps us land Bosh. NJ looks to eliminate all rivals in the Bron/Wade race. Hou does not do the trade unless #1 pick and Yi come back.

In any Bosh trade teams have to make a commitment to be able to resign him same as Boozer situation.

In any Bosh trade it only makes sence to make NJ that third team.

The rest of the pieces i'll let you figure it out from here.

Yea, you're right, the local Farmer's Market is just full of Donald Trump's. Seriously, you should know that there is a major difference between those who haggling over the price of vegetables and cold blooded negotiators like DM.

After all, we are not talking about getting auto insurance with GEICO here. :)

I will give one small example. Do you recall what happened with Gortat? DM met him at 12:01 am at his house and then stated that you are only worth a maximum of X amount of dollars and not a penny more. Take it or leave it.

Now compare that to Mark Cuban, who let Bass slip away while trying to woo Gortat, only to lose both of them. Mark was the laughingstock of the NBA. This is why we praise DM so much, because we have not see his like in Houston. So you see, there is a difference.

Chicago GM: "We aren't parting with Noah for Mcgrady"

DM: "I went to MIT and I can Jedi Mind trick you into trading me Anthony Randolph if I wanted him, so how about we just skip the pointless negotiations, and you just hand him over."

Chicago GM: "What? This is insanity, how the hell have you gotten away with being an NBA GM this long? You didn't even know we don't have Anthony Randolph. This is ridiculous, I'm leaving at once. I have not seen such unprofessional tactics in all my years of business.

DM: "Wait John - hold on just one second. *Pauses-waves hand* - You will offer me Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, and Anthony Randolph in a four way trade way trade that also nets us Chris Bosh. We will then take some time to consider whether we should even give you Mcgrady, or just hand you some of Jordan's coattails so you can sleep better at night."

    John Paxson: *Head Explodes*

DM: "I guess I overdid it - I'll just convince Reinsdorf to put me on their payroll as the first dual GM in the league"
