Nah, we are done as far as another Super Bowl. The Cowboys stadium seats 100k for special events, it has all the bells and whistles, Jerry is alot more influencial than McNair. Yeah, we won't be getting another Super Bowl.

Like the Cowboys or not, I can't see how anyone couldn't be impressed by this stadium. It looks incredible.

I think there are Alaskan cities that are bigger.

The stadium is sick. I'll be at the Chelsea game in July and can't wait to get in.

Unfortunately I think that other sporting events/entertainment shows at the stadium are cheaper to get in than the Cowboys games.(except in nosebleed).

I drove up to Dallas last weekend to tour the stadium. It was easily the greatest piece of architecture I've ever seen! Below is a link to the uploaded pictures if anyone is interested.

Sweet looking. Too bad they had to ruin it by putting a soccer field there!

Well, there goes any chance of Houston getting another Super Bowl, Final Four, or Big 12 Championship game.

I think the stadium is going to impress, but the logistical nightmare of having everything at least 20 miles away from the stadium and everything 20 miles from everything else, as well as getting people in and out of a town with no public transportation (not even buses) is likely to weigh heavily on the decisionmakers when Dallas comes again in the Super Bowl location talk, especially if it's only 35 degrees or so during Super Bowl week.

The thing that most dont know about this stadium is that Pig Miller backed about 33% of the original cost.

That stadium is truly a spectacle. I have not been there though so thus far the best stadium I've seen in person is Wembley Stadium.

You should try it at times other than 3:00 a.m. on a Thursday. :D

Seriously, with the traffic of some of the freeways, it has taken me a small eternity to get from Dallas to the midcities.

The fact that it holds so many seats will outweigh everything else. Money talks.

Theyre hosting a football game today.

Club America vs Chelsea. This is on tv, right?

Man, that is pretty amazing. Do you know if they layed out grass for the soccer match or will they be playing on fieldturf?

So anyone know where I can go back for a schedule of all non-football events where I might be able to catch a game at this new architectural marvel? Going to an NFL game with Cowboy fans is pretty much out of the question, for moral and financial reasons.
