the real issue is rudys health, not who will be suspended.

This thread isn't too early at all. I was about to go to bed, but now I'm waiting for ESPN highlights. Maybe this is what the Lakers needed to get them off their high horse.

Well of course, and agree, let's hope Rudy is fine......

But this is also a Rockets board and we are in a playoff push, so it is relevent to discuss both Rudy's health and the impact on the game on Wed.

Saw that also, Odom came off the bench which is an automatic suspension and Ariza had flagrant 2 which is a one game suspension. Oh yeah I am glad TMac will never play in a Rockets uniform.

Did you forget which two perimeter defensive monsters we have on this team?

This is why the Rockets shouldn't have a blow out game. Opposing teams often resort to hard fouls due to frustration.

I wonder if Pau Gasol is going to be mad at Ariza. Since Rudy is his country man and fellow team mate for spain.

    Stupid post - yes.

They were down 30, he went for his head....it was a flagrant 2, a frustration foul.....and a dirty foul.

    It was uneccessary and dangerous.

If Rudy misses more than 1 game, Arriza should too, but won't.

Phil Jackson should go ahead and rest Kobe and Pau Gasol for their next game against San Antonio on Thursday, they need that one more than the one against us.

    saw that play. just terrible.

on a side note, dontaye jones (or whatever his name is) hit yao's face in the 3rd quarter and yao fell to the floor. is it just me or anyone else thought that was a flagrant 1? the difference is yao is just too tall and too heavy.

Kobe is great but we have the best players to contain kobe. With out their depth they are toast against us

I saw that and agree with you. It should have been flagrant. He was definitely NOT going for the ball. Clubbed Yao right in his face. Jones even had his right hand in a fist. He also got high fives from teammates. Those indications that it was intentional

I actually think this is what sparked the Rockets to play more aggressive as a team. Yao didn't turn into Hulk like he usually does when someone punks him, but the team stepped up for him, which led to a 19 point lead.

glad to know i wasn't alone on that one.

if i were yao, jones would be gone in the next possession. but it's just me.
