Top 10 team names for a Houston NHL team: 10. Aeros 9. Aeros 8. Aeros 7. Aeros 6. Aeros 5. Aeros 4. Aeros 3. Aeros 2. Aeros 1. Aeros
I'd rather have minor league hockey back. The last few years we had the Aeros I finally started going to games and it was great. Cheap tickets, close to the action. NHL ticket prices are ridiculous.
DC is my second home since my wife is from there and we visit often… it’s going to be hard to choose between my beloved Caps and these Coyotes. By beloved Caps, I’ve been to 1 game and they won. It’s my happiest sports memory.
I'm pretty sure we would just have to change the mascot to properly reflect a coyote from the Houston area.
e The one sport out of the 4 major pro U.S. sports that has the absolute toughest athletes. Fractured wrist? Mike Modano played in the Stanley Cup Finals with a Broken Wrist Broken Leg? A Bruins player once played 2/3 of a game with a completely broken Tibia in an Stanley Cup Final and then attempted to dress out for the next 2 games Broken Foot? Vegas' Alec Martinez played with a broken foot this year. Senators' Erik Karlsson broke BOTH feet and played 6 games in the 2017 playoffs. Broken Teeth? meh..just spit them out and keep playing. Herniated disk? LA's Jonathan Quick Goaltended for the entire playoffs with a herniated disk..if you've never had a herniated disk (I Have) it can be extremely painful. Broken Jaw? Bruins Zdeno Chara had wires in his mouth and couldn't eat solid foods but still played in the playoffs. Concussion? - Mighty Ducks Paul Kariya ends up knocked unconscious for about a minute on the ice. Had a concussion but came back on the ice to score the game winning goal.
I dont watch enough soccer, but even I know they have the toughest doods out there. Mighty Ducks 2 is one of the very few sequels that was better than the original.
I’ve really become an Avs fan over the past few years but sign me up, rebrand them as the Aeros and Oiler colors, easy win
Over the course of my 16 years living in MD, the combination of ineptitude by New York's ownership and the drafting of the Russian Machine precipitated a change in allegiance from the Islanders to the Caps. It WOULD be tough to switch if Houston got a team, but I'd have to do it. In the meantime, I'll enjoy Ovie's relentless march to the title of "Greatest Scorer in the History of Ever".
I think you need to consult with the Texas Legislature regarding legalizing sport gambling in Texas. denial = they gone
I've never been a fan of warm weather cities getting NHL teams, maybe it's from living in Minnesota and watching hockey played on an actual frozen lake. If it's any consolation though the Coyotes are barely an NHL hockey team. Of course the Rox are barely an NBA team right now too..
