This game doesn't prove how good the Cowboys are as much as it proves how much the Cardinals suck ass...

    Don't worry Cardinals fans, it'll be a dry 2-14

Cowboys Fans = Most FICKLED fans ever.

The same type of people crucified Jesus.

Emmitt WAS and still IS the single reason the COWBOYS won 90's CHAMPIONSHIPS. No run game = no pass game. Prove me wrong. (League Rushing Title anyone?) Duh!!

    Fickled, fickled, fickled.

You deserve a "Bud Adams-esque" owner like Jones that'll kick out a living legend just to bring in Tuna...

You didn't see the Chicago Bears fail "Sweetness" like that did you? A player of that magnitude, with that much DESERVED respect should at least get that dignity.

You guys probably bad-mouth the Dream and Rudy T. too... fickled. Your type said Warren Moon was not a good QB. Your type has "mixed emotions" and could care less about the point.

Bite the hand the fed you.

    I'm sickened. :(

    It's just not right.

I have to say Im a bit shocked that any Cowboys fans would be happy with what happened to Smith today.

While Im not your typical Cowboys fan (Im from Sydney) when I saw the game highlights today I felt very sad. Sure it was a great win, but Smith didnt deserve that.

I know its football and you get nothing given to you. But I would have liked to see Smith at the very least go out and be able to hold his head high after a Cards loss.

Its going to be a sad end to his career playing with the Cardinals. Im one Cowboys fans that wont like a single minute of watching one of our legends go through the season with that terrible club.

I have mixed emotions about the game.

On one hand, I'm happy the Cowboys won.
On the other hand, I saddened to see Emmit go down like he did. He just wants to play the sport he loves.

For the record...I've always hated Jerry Jones.

Most people in this thread have said they wished Emmitt had a good game.

Even the guy that said it was good to see him get stuffed said he felt bad for Emmitt. Not sure where you are seeing the animosity.

No kidding, man. I loved Emmitt when he was here and I still love Emmitt. IROC it's attempt to categorize all Cowboy fans as fickle is weak. I have to assume that IROC it didn't read any posts in this thread because he has no legs to stand on with his post.

So, it's wrong to want to see us stop the run against an opposing team who now have Emmitt because he is Emmitt Smith and were ungrateful? Is that it? That is crap. Anyone who commented on Emmitt pretty much said they wanted him to have a good game but not such a good game that we lose the game. Plus, Emmitt did put his foot in his mouth to inspire our D to play him harder.

For the record, there were some majorly pissed off fans when they didn't bring Emmitt back to the Cowboys this season. Emmitt did well last season considering our offensive line was just terrible. I thought he would do well this season for us if our line improved.

So, take your ramblings and shove off cause their bs.

Yeah I wanted to see Emmitt stuffed. SO?

I know full damn well how good of a career he's had ... in Dallas.

    But guess what now?

    1. He's the enemy.
    2. He should've retired.
    3. If he really wanted to stay with the cowboys he should've altered his contract and embraced a backup role.
    4. He talked trash and provided the d with bulletin board material.

Yeah, it was a lil sad seeing him on the sideline and basically crying after the game. And I definitely did not want to see him injured. But you know what? He chose this. No sympathy. If the game doesn't matter but his kid's soccer game does - then freaking retire and spend your time with your kids before something tragic happens.

Being loyal to the team and not the player does not = fickle. That assumption = r****ded.

I loved Emmitt when he was a Cowboy. I still love Emmitt now that he's a Cardinal. However, I love the Cowboys more than I love Emmitt. I was very sad (and still am) to see him leave, but he had options to stay. He could have taken a pay cut and not complained if Hambrick started ahead of him. However, he said that being on a winning team was to important to him. So he went and signed with Tampa, who wanted him, right? No, he signed with the highest bidder, showing that he cared more about cash than winning.

Yes, it pissed me off when he started running his mouth about the Cowboys. I've gotten over it though. Yeah, I wanted to see the defense stuff him. I would also want to see the defense stuff Priest Holmes, Marshall Faulk, Ricky Williams, etc.

I wanted a chance to cheer for Emmitt, but the Cardinals didn't allow it since they introduced their defense instead of their offense. Do I wish the Cowboys had done some of pre or post game ceremony welcoming him back to town? Yes, I do, but it didn't happen.

Don't call me fickle (there's no D in it, bud). Don't make generalized comments about me. You don't know me. You don't know how loyal I am to my teams, to my favorite players.

Emmitt brought all of this upon himself. If you're going to blame anyone, blame him...

For me personally, I've hated you Cowboy fans long before the Arizona game, so I could care less about whether you wanted Emmitt to do well or not. Dallas was, is and will always be the biggest bandwagon team in the NFL. I know, I know....none of you are bandwagon fans. No Cowboys fan ever is.

    What?

Payton worked his ass off for years keeping a horrid Bears team respectable. Then when they finally get their act together in 85, you'd think that it would be Payton's time to shine. What did Ditka do? He gave the freaking ball to the Fridge, on the one yard line, effectively keeping Payton from ever scoring a TD in his only SuperBowl.

Ya, tons and tons of respect for Payton.

    RC-

They just said on the radio that Witten had surgery last night and is doubtful for next week, but that Parcells doesn't think that he'll be out for too long...

I live in Dallas so... I actually see it in person. And I hear it on the radio, all too often. Local news reporters even made light of him shedding tears afterward.

    Dallas media stinks.

Sorry if you can't see what I can see. (You blind baby, blind from the fact, you blind. ;) )

    Go Eagles.

Oh really? Dallas puts the "d" in my spelling of fickleD...

And no... "Bud" is your owner's new persona, not my relationship to you.;)
